Excellent tour. Something for everyone. Comprehensive coverage of many aspects of the history and culture of Glasgow. Worth every minute of your time. Wear comfortable shoes because you will cover considerable parts of the city with recommendations for follow-up exploring. Johnnie was incredible and dynamic.

Johnny is a champion for Glasgow, passionate and loud about history, architecture, people and all things Glaswegian. Do not consider another tour. Johnny is the one who takes the bookings and does the tour, he will even send you a message if a vacancy pops up ( bonus- walk numbers are limited so you aren’t walking with a bus load of others. ) you will see things that are off the radar. I can’t speak highly enough of the enthusiasm and energy you will encounter on theIs walk, tip Johnny well, he absolutely deserves it.

Johnny was an amazing tour guide. Very knowledgeable, fun and energetic! It is clear to see he is a proud and passionate Glaswegian. We also appreciated the fact that he did not only celebrate Glasgow in all its glory but also touched on some of the history and current climate of the city that some people may prefer to sweep under the rug. An amazing tour, with an amazing tour guide and a perfect way to be introduced to Glasgow. Thanks a lot Johnny!

Superb walking tour. Have lived in Glasgow all my life but Johnny’s knowledge of the quirks of the city’s architecture and historical anecdotes were a real eye opener and fascinating to me and my 7 year old boy. Knowledgeable, passionate and entertaining guide. Great value for money. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants 3 entertaining hours learning about Glasgow

Glasgow Gander Walking Tours
If you want to fall in love with Glasgow, this is the way to do it. Johnny's knowledge of and passion for the city are in abundance.He was so enthusiastic and easy to talk to. We were part of a small group, four people in all and Johnny even went so far as buying us a cheeky can of Irn Bru. Wonderful tour full of fun facts, architecture, history, art and Glasgow humour. Johnny's list of recommendation set us right for our stay with some great pubs and activities. A must do!!
