Friendly helpful staff (lady just started))was lovely. Don't like self service and waited for service. Only one desk open no-one to help if someone needed help with self service. Not many in shop thank goodness.

The store itself is like any other Eurospar. Some good offers, good selection. Although a couple of the more mature staff could be a little more helpful. The fruit/ veg selection is good for a corner shop" but the Eurospar in Donaghadee is much better for fruit

EDIT: I felt bad about my original review, as the lady with ginger hair hasn't done it again since. I got the sense that she knew about the review, or maybe she didn't. But I really hope I haven't made her feel uneasy at her place of work, I know I would be if someone wrote a negative review about me. So I just want to apologise for my negativity.

Excellent store after undergoing a refurbishment recently. Everything you could need without having to go to a major supermarket - Pre packed Meats/Fresh Veg/Fruit/Milk/Butcher counter/tinned goods/frozen food/post office/gift section and self service till option. Wide aisles to enable shopping with ease using trolley/pram/wheelchair. Parking directly outside with low rise kerb to take trolley to the car.

This place is always busy and packed. Everyone seems to be so nice and helpful. Their shelves are always well stocked and easy to find stuff. A bit on the pricey side but sure everywhere is nowadays.

Quite a big Spar with a large selection of groceries and household goods. They have some good offers and often price-match the big supermarkets. There's a butchery counter, bakery and hot food deli. Fruit and veg better quality than Tesco and Asda but smaller range. Also has a handy Post Office down the back of the store. Great for nipping in for a few items.

Self service tills are an absolute pain, if they weren't card only they might work better, but since they were installed service has become very slow as most people wait to be served at a normal till. I usually only nip in for small items which I pay cash for, which seems to be the same for most people, but now you have to wait so long to be served I usually just go to the Spar on the Gransha Road instead.

Best Spar in the country. Always well stocked. Well staffed. Clean. Cool in summer. Good opening hours. Can't speak highly enough of it. GO SPAR ASHBURY!!

I used to shop here almost every day but I only venture here now in emergency and only if completely and utterly necessary. I am please to see the new self service is proving to be a complete flop, must have obviously dreamt up by some imbecile in a office that has no clue what customers expect. Constantly being asked at the till if you want to buy the latest pruck they have on offer will only serve to drive your customers away!!

Well stocked and well run Eurospar. Fruit & veg good quality. Frequent offers - download GANDER app! Staff usually pleasant. In store Larmour's butcher superb quality. Ribs great slow cooked, burgers awesome esp. pork and apple.
