Bees Bower - Dog Friendly Glamping - Treehouse

A beautiful place, tended and hosted with love, energy and vision by Matt and Rachel (and their girls!) . Had a 2 night solitary stay in Bees Bower which felt both indulgent and like plugging into nature. I’d recommend a mix of helping out with any jobs around the place (I did a few meditative hours of restoration, reclaiming trees from brambles - ask Matt if there’s anything you can do) contemplative spacious time and cosy social time. In Bees there’s a gorgeous wood burner, glorious views, balcony (you can open the whole end canvas wall on to the balcony) and a bedroom that makes you feel you’re in some other land. Really comfy bed, good lighting and exquisite workmanship (that staircase!). A bit creaky in high wind but then it’s a timber and canvas structure and v cosy inside. You can hear the road a bit from down away in the valley, but that’s muffled by foliage as Spring turns to Summer.The hosts are an inspiration, the goats are hilarious, and the aspect and landscape is dreamy and dramatic. You’re left to your own devices and autonomy is enabled (wheelbarrows provided for moving your stuff etc).All the different spaces to stay in are amazing and different. Enjoy!

Myself and 16 week pregnant wife just returned from a three night stay in Bees Bower and we have had the most relaxing time!The place is fantastic, super clean and worth every penny.What separates this place from other similar holiday locations is how secluded you are. You’re a good distance from any of the other small properties and they have been strategically placed amongst the existing landscape for privacy which made our stay perfect.The workmanship and unique little details you notice throughout the stay is super cool. This place really has a wow factor.

What a beautiful spot! You will LOVE your stay here. The accommodation is fantastically crafted, the wood fired hot tubs a joy, the views unsurpassed.Get booking people!!

My friend and I had a girly weekend in Mimi's yurt. We were ready for sometime away from our busy lives at home and Goytree Farm did not disappoint. We arrived with Matt (owner/host) giving us an enthusiastic detailed run down on yurt life as well as the facilities to keep phones charged etc if needed. There are no electric points in the yurt as it is run off solar panels. We had prepared well for 'camping' as directed on the website and with a few extra layers we were more than comfortable at night. The yurt had everything we needed for a few nights away with basic condiments provided as well as cutlery etc. We decided during the day to book the Carpenters Arms for lunch. This was a great decision as we walked across the fields (1.5 miles appox) to the pub, warmed ourselves by the fire and ate hearty home cooked food. Goytree Farm is a very special place, it is remote enough for you to feel completely on your own away from the hustle and bustle but is only a 15 min driver to the nearest town. There is lots to do in the local area however we enjoyed walks and sitting in front the fire reading a good book. Enjoy your stay.

We had the best weekend staying here and would highly recommend. Perfect place to unwind, chill and enjoy nature.
