I can only imagine what the town must be like in the Summer - warm, comfortable and pleasant. However, there has to be a however, in the Winter with ice and snow it was formidable - cold and bleak. Roll on the Summer and another visit to see the town as is really is!!

Excellent small supermarket, but dreadful small badly designed car park, clearly SUV's not a thing when they built it. But the supermarket is superb and lovely staff. Fair prices.

Good decent sized Co-op with a decent selection with plenty of parking. Has self service tills as well as standard tills. Used this as we were staying locally for the week in Wells and we're able to stock up on all the normal holiday niceties + fresh foods for dinner with only one item out of stock.

Rude staff. Most unhelpful and felt as if I was a bother coming in to shop and he had better things to do than serve customers. Shame as it used to be inviting.

Close to the seacoast so you will hear seagulls scream while shopping ha ha, plenty of flatbeds to use while unloading, helpful staff.
