Would give a zero rating if possible. Terrible shop - took hedge trimmer for repair, over 4 weeks later still no news. Constantly chased for updates and never called back. When I got fed up of waiting and went into the shop, the staff were blatantly rude an in interested. Avoid !

I took a K'Archer pressure washer in to them for diagnosis/repair. They wanted £25 to look at it, which I paid. I went back to pick it up only to find it disassembled with its smaller components in a plastic carrier bag. Apparently this 2 year old machine wasn't worth fixing, so they didn't even put it back together. I have no idea what's happened to this shop (that I've been going to for decades). I've never encountered such disrespect and would never go back there. Pity, because it used to be such a good shop before they clearly lost interest...

Not quite an old fashioned ironmonger, but probably the modern equivalent. Very good stock at reasonable prices. Knowledgeable staff.

Went to St George's Day event Inc meal.Singers Fantastic.Food....Roast beef Yorkshire pudding roast potatoes parsnips. Roast Beef, a very rare knife, wouldn't cut it properly, more tearing needed for it. Sister sent hers back asked for them to cook a bit more on a grill, unedible when returned. Roast potatoes not roasted parsnips very el'dente. Yorkshire Pudding burnt. Between five of us, one and half plates of food left . Looking at many of the other tables it was much the same. So so disappointed

One of those places that seems to have been there for ever, and somewhere that always proves to be very useful whenever you're attempting something DIY related and realise you haven't quite got everything you need to hand. Sad to notice the sign proclaiming that the owner is looking to sell in order to retire. Have an awful feeling that it's just suddenly going to close without new owners being found, leaving another void that wont be filled. Hopefully, someone will prove me wrong.

Great service at a price lower than the majority of the big chains. This place has been awesome for us since we moved to mere Green.The staff are very helpful and give great advise if you're working on something and not sure what you'll need for the job.It's arranged in the way hardware shops used to be and still should be. Instead of prepackaged things you might never use all of you can buy single washers and screws and there's a great selection of tools to both buy and rent. I hope it sticks around as there aren't many shops left like this any more.

Every time I've been in this little shop I've found what I'm looking for! It's local, and the only place you can go and buy a single nut or washer! Great selection of hire equipment too.

The elderly gentleman seems uninterested if it is a small purchase I was asked if I was from the Sutton area what has that got to do with making a purchase and yes I am from Sutton Coldfield but believe we are all equal wherever we reside.
