We found Amy after a recommendation on a local community board. We were thinking about enlarging the property we'd just bought, and from the first feasibility meeting, Amy really understood what we were looking to do. She came back with 3 drawings, and one of those is more or less what we went on to build. She has great ideas, and is always focused on trying to meet the client's brief. She developed the plans, then helped us with planning permission before project managing the build project with her recommended builder (who was excellent).We have extended and modernised our property and it looks fabulous, and is also extremely practical for a large, multi-generational family.Having worked with architects before, I'm aware how hard it can be to really help a client sort out what they want, and then help them deliver it more or less on time, and to a controlled budget. Amy's fees are very reasonable, especially for the level of support, and the attention to detail she provides.We'd highly recommend Amy - and we have, to neighbours and others. Amy is an exceptional architect and designer. By the time I called Amy, I’d seen three architects, none of whom understood my vision and how my family needed to function in our space.
