The Money Store

Terrible after sales service. Bought a phone and after 67 days it was blacklisted as reported lost/stolen. They told me that as I only had a 60 day warranty, tough luck. Unbelievable - why do I lose out because they bought a phone in off someone who was dodgy?! This isn't a warranty issue, a phone bought in good faith at retail should never become blacklisted and if it does, the retailler must take accountablility! Citizens advice advised me to initiate a chargeback through the Visa scheme, so that is what I am doing.

Unfair. Very calculated and sneaky staff over a period of2 months after a family member being a victim of this stores way of running there buisneas (staff allowing a member of the public buy out there centimental item without ID or buy back receipt) me & 2 other members of the store after there wrong doing also" decided toget evidence to support what has been allowed to go on to are people in this money worrying time "" daughter son slim and suffering with mental health with severe organ problems that has took into his appearance he took in a item and was offered only a 1/4 of what he was recieving else were he accepted and repurchased 2 weeks followin. The 2nd time my aunt (50 well appearance wearing work uniform took item in on a buy back in her name was offered £45 more than what the same item was loaned on 2 weeks before. Acasion no3 male family member again took in item and was still only offered the price he was originally so saying nothing he accepted and took note. After a period of just over 2 months theitrm was taken in 4 times the last accession he entered asking for £5 more they accepted unusually with the shop being busy and other's being served she passed the money through.we had always had it on a buy back so returning a week or so later to find out it had been sold and had not been put on a buy back. (Now realise why she was happy to up the loan £5 ) Me along with others noticed when picking up are belongings prior to this last situation we found accounts saved to are technical items a netflix log in from a amylou another friend had noticed apps had been opened on there items. Numerous things enoughs enough watch out guys not only are they discrimating l. Frauding Are people but they using are private belongings that should be stored. Untouched and most of all safeThe place needs shutting down !!! Be aware"

I like to get a good deal in these types of shops I like to shop in Manchester and quite often Preston area near where I work.Farnworth is brilliant for bargains and this store is one of my favourite. Lovely staff and some good deals around Christmas. Been buying from here for 4 years. I’ve 4 kids so mobiles are usually what I buy.Thanks to all the staff especially the lovely young man who’s just started this year he was so very helpful,

I bought a console. Wasn’t working. Very difficult and difensive staff. Refused refund. Owner hiding behind a self made policy of no refund. Shocking. By law you should have a refund within 30 days on faulty products.

Great customer services. Bought two PlayStations and they offer 60 days warranty.

The employees offered a bike which had no issues at all" after ive told them im coming from far away and i get there seeing the bike all scratched up and beat up. The seller tells me it's like new. I take it for a test ride after i pay the full amount and both the wheels are buckled. The front one is not usable at all and the brakes were not even the same. Not to mention the chain kept falling off and the frame was all scratched up where the chain goes near it. Wouldn't recommend purchasing from them at all."

Absolute brilliant Store and brilliant staff, bought all my consoles from here and never had a problem. Always the best price and would highly recommend.

Never used these types of stores before but was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and helpful the staff were. I was greeted by a lovely young lady who helped me pick a games console for my nephew and she did me a great discount on some games. I will definitely be visiting this store again.
