I visited the shop twice whilst visiting Dorset in August and had to order some more sweets weeks after returning home as I'd enjoyed them so much. So hard to find a decent sweet shop that sells proper old fashioned sweets, and this does that.

I love visiting the shop they are soooo friendly and helpful with the biggest range of sweets! but when we couldn't get down i decided to order on line and i am seriously impressed!! Fantastic communication, ordering was so easy and delivery was early. Opening the box to the smell of sweets was a pure joy, ty to you for making my day x

The vegan ice cream was delicious however I don't think I've ever found somewhere as expensive! 1 small scoop in a medium pot was £2.30 whereas I would have expected that to be half the price for 1 scoop, certainly not £4.60 for 2 scoops! Had I known what the price involved, I wouldn't have bought it as you could get more elsewhere.

Sadly, neither the fudge, nor the chocolate buttons were nice at all, tasting just of butter and too much sugar.Shame because the shop looked promising and the staff was nice.

Hired sweet jars and scoops for a sweet cart at our wedding reception. The staff at Truly Scrumptious were brilliant, so polite and helpful with everything. Gave great advice on a mixed selection of sweets. Everyone really enjoyed the sweets and how great it all looked. We have been passing customers for a while and just asked if they could help us, they went far beyond what we expected.Thank you very much and we will be back for more delicious treats soon!

Absolutely amazing sweet shop the lady that owns the shop really is one of a sort, she was even handing out sweets to passers by during the Harry paye day parade, well worth a visit cannot recommend enough, lovely ice cream too!

Really amazing collection of sweets, mostly old but some modern ones too. The hardest thing was having to choose what to get! Loved that they had things like sugar mice. Well worth a visit if you're in town.

Shop was closing for the day, Jeanette welcomed us in without rushing us so we could pick up some lovely sweeties for our daughter. Lovely shop filled with every sweet imaginable and incredible service, Highly recommend.

Lovely old fashioned sweet shop, selling all the old favorites and many more. Ice cream was to die for and I'm sure my hubby will enjoy the handmade fudge if he gets to try it.Lovely staff too
