MYA Clinical Hub Newcastle

Four areas of Vaser LipoStarted my journey at the beginning of the year and booked my surgery in March for mid-June. I have not seen or spoke to my Patient Coordinator since March. The first few visits were incredible and she was amazing, but then once booked and paid for I got the impression I wasn't cared for like I was before I booked. Even through emails I ended up speaking to a receptionist, or (after the surgery) the clinic nurse, who was amazing and answered everything. I spent in excess of 6K which I think now, was a waste of money for the results. They took about 2 litres from me (over four areas) and unfortunately, I look NOTHING like the Vaser before & after photos that MYA post regularly. I'm still exactly the same dress size I was before the surgery, but now with 17 individual scars. Since the op in mid-June, I still have some pain around my ribs even today. I had two post op appointments with the clinic nurse, and it was recommended I see my surgeon again this month. I cancelled this because I don't feel like I can go back there now as unhappy as I am. I've now unfollowed MYA on social media because its upsetting to see all the photos of other girls' procedures, and their comments on how amazing the aftercare was.I feel like their claims of excellent service is a bit overrated, and feel like you get pushed aside after you've paid them. If anything I'm more unhappy with my body than what I was beforehand.

The guys are absolutely lovely, very welcoming and made the experience of visiting my consultant much better. Also my consultant was absolutely wonderful. He couldn’t have explained things to me any better. I’d highly recommend going to MYA if you’re thinking of having a procedure done.

I’m just back from my 7 week po nurse appointment where I was signed off by the amazing nurse. I had a breast reduction and right from booking my first appointment it has been one of the best experiences of my life. All the staff at the mya Newcastle clinic have been amazing and made me feel so welcomed and comfortable. They’re really friendly and will do anything to help you. I absolutely love my results and it really had changed my life, it’s money well spent and worth every penny. My surgeon was amazing, from first meeting him he was polite and very straight- which is what I like because they know what they’re talking about. He was very professional, I trusted him and he didn’t disappoint. I had my procedure at the first trust in Preston and the hospital and all the staff were brilliant I loved it I didn’t want to leave haha. From the start, right until now not one thing could have been better. Thank you mya Newcastle!! Xxx highly recommend to anyone!! X

I’ve felt since my first ever enquiry with MYA that the service I had was always very friendly, my coordinator Jill put me at ease right away. Making a choice like surgery can be a daunting thing but the MYA girls I seen pre surgery at Newcastle all made me feel more excited than nervous. My Surgeon Mr Mahdi was honest, professional and explained what was best for me. I put my trust in him when he recommended no implant for my breast uplift. I felt a little underwhelmed after my first consultation thinking I wouldn’t get the lifted appearance I was after without an implant but I’m so relieved I trusted him. My results are everything I wanted and more. They’re perfectly shaped and uplifted, they’re even better than I imagined even without an implant. I have that lovely fullness that I’d lost and felt insecure about. They’re just perfect! My pre and post surgery appointments with Nurse Rebecca have been clear, caring and professional and the friendly phone calls from Jill along my whole journey have been comforting and professional. I was well looked after by Jodie and Johanna at Preston during my stay and have had a couple phone calls since my op to check how if I’m okay post treatment. I’m so happy I chose MYA and Mr Mahdi.
