Scotia Vehicle Inspection

I can only echo the other negative reviews, completely fabricated reports to suit the finance company, I work within the motor trade and was fully aware of the exact problems my vehicle had, however my finance company insisted upon sending Scotia, I recorded the full inspection, and now within the submitted report the examiner fully contradicts himself and has made statements which are completely untrue, which can be verified with not only my own knowledge, but the words he spoke during the report.P.S - the £15 Chinese OBD2 scanner is a really nice touch, a complete bunch of cowboys, if your finance company insist on sending scotia, REFUSE, force them to use someone reputable and honest.

Scotia came an inspected my vehicle after an issue over whether the car was fit for purposes at date of sale. Communication was great, arrived on time and compiled their report in a timely manner, covering all required aspects. The two employees I spoke with were professional and friendly. Can't fault them

This company are useless cost me a fortune for an independent inspection a van I had for 1 years now has been on the road about 7 months of that 28 days after buying the van gearbox pipe burst then 6 months later the DPF packed up and 11 months later the gearbox packs up apparently that’s because 16000 miles I had done in total is classed as high mileage and I’m out of warranty yet the van had a BRAND NEW GEARBOX when I bought it (THIS COMPANY IS FOR THE VENDER NOT THE CONSUMER)

One of the worse company’s in this country!!!Did a 5minute check & told my finance company it isn’t dangerous to drive my vehicle as it’s a heavy adblue leak but tells me don’t worry I will make a proper report!!!You only checked the car for 5 minutes, how can you make a proper report..Now because of this Oodle finance are not willing to fix the issue as it will cost them money. 7months I’ve been reporting this problem and hardly drove a 22k car!!!Told oodle I don’t want this company to check it as it has bad reviews but they still sent scotia vehicle inspection.Everyone refuse inspection from these, they are not professionals

Scotia came out to assess a vehicle I have had issues with from purchase. The engineer turned up with a small chinese under £20 from amazon code reader that didn't pick up any codes. Have taken vehicle to independent garage and had 9 codes. Scotia don't deserve 1 star. Now stuck with vehicle thats full of faults and also never diagnosed faulty clutch that you can put vehicle in gear and foot off clutch to just go nowhere.

The worst company EVER came out to my Audi 3 weeks ago, did an oil check on a steep hill facing downwards that was the 1st indication he didn't know or care what he was doing, having had my car done 3 times on a diagnostic machine a decent one not the £100 that was spent on his machine from Amazon, every time showing the same faults, clutch 2 opening unintentionally, turbo fault, apparently when warning lights come on the dashboard that's normal for this type of vehicle well who would have thought that !!!Well guess what the gearbox went on my car today on the other side of town leaving me stranded in an area I don't know.Well this isn't the end your EXPERT" Said the car is in perfect working condition

The reviews filled me with dread but the inspector Nigel was brilliant. He was polite and inspected the car properly giving me feedback along the way. He was honest in the report and spotted more faults I didn’t know was present and he advised me not to drive it. I am truly grateful for the honesty and service I received. It’s taken a big weight of my shoulders, and helped me for the next steps. There are people who are genuine and do a great job.

All negative reviews I add to myself. Inspector spent 12 minutes from arrival to departure and failed to report what I had him say on voice record and have evidence on Ring Doorbell of 12 minute visit. Failed to report what he agreed with me and didn't report on the fault of an over running engine. This company is a disgrace and falsified what they tell a customer. Attitude on phone also appalling. I read reviews so took diligence by recording his visit. Get your own report and DO NOT TRUST SCOTIA!!! Told me report would be sent day after and took them 12 days!!!!

Terrible company. Came to inspect my car after being hired by a finance company, said that my car was basically ready for scrap to my face. Report was then written missed out all the faults mentioned. Didn’t even use a diagnostics machine to read fault codes. Fraudulent report was then written to support finance company. Crooks
