Highly recommend. Damien designed my garden and it's beautiful and practical. He listened to my needs then incorporated them into the garden design. The price was very reasonable after getting 3 quotes, he also worked in all weathers to ensure the garden was completed in the allotted time frame. He sourced all the materials locally and saved me a lot of money by having contacts who he trusted to supply quality goods. If you are looking for a garden designer who you can trust to ensure a great job then look no further.

Absolutely fantastic work. Completed 2 projects for me doing a bespoke fence and landscaped garden at 1 house and a new wall and front drive at the other house. Couldn't imagine they would turn out so great. I just wanted general work done but Damien completely transformed both gardens with his ideas and vision. Made up with the results, will definitely be using again

Damien was professional to start off with and made proper contact. He visited the property and had some good ideas about converting our garden space into a family friendly area we can enjoy. He made sketches and the next step was that he will get back to us with some design ideas. This is where things went wrong. Damien took for ever to contact and would only respond if we chased. He did have a few personal reasons which delayed his final ideas and designs to us and we were accomodating and waited patiently. After another few days Damien simply stopped responding to any WhatsApp messages, Facebook messages or even emails. No answering phone calls either. We asked him directly if he can't do the job to let us know so we don't waste our time and can look else where.The lack of common courtesy in communicating why he can't follow through the job was very frustrating. My experience with 81 Designers was poor based on this interaction and I cannot recommend their services based on this.

Having twice tried, unsuccessfully, to get someone to contact us regarding a new fence, we met Damien by chance in our village, where he was carrying out some work. On his van was the word ‘fencing’ and in the time we stopped to take down his mobile number, Damien had popped out to see if he could help us. What a lucky encounter that was! From that brief conversation, he called round to look at the job we had in mind, gave us his thoughts and ideas and came up with a price.The work co-incided with some of the worst weather we have experienced this year – driving rain, hard frosts and a heavy snow fall. Throughout all of this, Damien ploughed on, with an industry and cheerfulness that belied the conditions in which he was working! To say we are delighted with the end result is an understatement and we are already planning the re-planting of our back garden!Damien is professional, innovative and takes an obvious pride in his work. The price we paid was the amount detailed on his original quotation. When using a contractor, a question often asked is “Would you use him again…?” Well, in answer to that, we have already booked Damien for his next job – and having seen his work, our next-door neighbour has also asked for a quotation!Oh...and if you are feeling generous, Damien is partial to a Tunnocks wafer biscuit with his coffee...!

New fence put up at one property, and stabilized existing fence at another property.We were very happy with the final finishing look, and are likely to use 81 Designers again when we have further work done.

I have never known a tradesman who works so hard from early in a morning until last thing at night ensuring that the job gets done.
