Absolutely amazing meal. The food is to die for, the flavours are sensational and the steam box is such a great centre piece and well worth the money. Wagyu melted in the mouth and with the homemade wasabi it was amazing. There were so many sauces to choose from and all were fragrant and offered something new with each dish. Though I went with a group, the amount of food for the price may be only only downside, but this is also expected in central london! Green Grape Soju is a MUST.

Delicious Korean BBQ and Squid Salad here with friendly service and a nice setting with chilled music.Really enjoyed the food here - squid salad was a particular standout for starters as well as the seafood pancakes. We had three BBQ items - ribeye, pork and bbq chicken and all were cooked at the table and delicious.Only downside was that I wish they refilled the tap water a little.I really recommend this place.

It was my first time eating ‘Pyeonbaek Three Tier Steam Box’. The staff kindly explained how to eat it. Fresh seafoods and meats were in good harmony with vegetables. I could feel the fragrant flavour of Pyeonbaek with smell and taste both.Additionally, Hotpot and Seafood Pancake were also nice. It reminded me of the taste when I arrived home.I think everybody can have a good time in this space regardless of lunch or dinner with the best quality of service and taste!!

Chungdam provides an elevated Korean barbecue experience in a lovely environment. This is not your typical Korean BBQ.Chungdam offers a concise menu with started, sides and a robust selection of meats to grill.Highlights include chateaubriand, ribeye, wagyu, beef tongue, brisket and pork belly. We started with the seasoned squid which was a bit pricey but packed a flavorful punch we didn’t regret. The restaurant offers a special steam box. The seafood and vegetables looked amazing although we didn’t order it ourselves.

I’ve had the pleasure of dining at Chungdam twice and I absolutely loved both visits. On the first occasion, we enjoyed some KBBQ and bibimbap, alongside mandoo, seafood pancake, and an assortment of traditionally pickled vegetables, which were wonderfully prepared. For our second visit (where the team very generously squeezed us in for a last minute birthday dinner) we finally tried Chungdam’s much raved about 3-tier Pyeonbaek steambox. I have to note that we actually ordered *2* portions of the incredible steamboxes which were packed with fresh beef, various seafood, and vegetables, and I’m pretty sure they used magic to somehow accommodate the space required by all the individual boxes, while also preparing the broth at the end. A special thank you to Minjae and MJ who were first-class with their attention to detail and warm service. If you’re searching for elevated Korean cuisine, then look no further than Soho’s latest establishment — Chungdam’s exceptional reviews are glowing for a reason!

An upscale Korean restaurant with some good quality meat cuts. The Beef Brisket was particularly tasty and tender, which I don't see in many Korean grill places in London. But the Beef Tongue was so thin which was a little upsetting. The Beef Tartar was delicious as well as the Beef Jeon. Loved a lot of the house-made sauces and condiments.I went during soft launch and unfortunately they were short of staff that day. Nevertheless, they were friendly and apologetic.Prices are higher, and portions are smaller compared to most Korean grills in London. But you can decide whether you'd go for quantity or quality.

Food: Ordered a variety of starters, and the portions are quite small and not good value for money. The beef tartare took over an hour to arrive. The steam boxes are overrated after reading reviews for food bloggers. Great for the experience, but essentially, it's glorified steamed food and was disappointed that some of the seafood was not cleaned properly. Both steam pots had sand in the seafood, especially the scallops.Service: Service was good, waiters will prepare the steam boxes for you.Atmosphere: The restaurant echoes, so it feels very noisy in the restaurant as we had a group of people behind us speaking loud, so we found it difficult to hear each other speak.

Interesting concept with the three tier steam box, filled with fresh ingredients . This was certainly the highlight of the meal, with the other grilled meats being as expected. However, you can tell that they focus on the quality of the meat. Despite this, we had to wait around 30-40 mins for our food, and it is hard to justify the price for the quantity of food served
