Great food, great location but poor service.Service on the night was very slow, to the point I had to ask for a drink 3 times before being served. It wasn't very busy and bar staff were just generally tidying the bar and chatting.

We stayed 2 nights and ate here one evening. Rooms were small but nice (good value). The breakfast included was really good. The gastro pub food was also very good (although the starter chicken balotine was a bit small). The pork belly main was delicious and the posh fish and chips was also tasty. Would stay here again.

Very busy when we walked in on a Saturday. I wasn't expecting the best. But staff were great, efficient and helpful though obviously run off their feet. Food was good pub food maybe a cut above the average too and well presented. By 9.30 the place was emptying and staff were breathing a sigh of relief, but we'll done them and the unseen kitchen staff for coping. Prawn cocktail and a burger did the business for me, but fancier stuff available. Book.

The Orange Tree has become a regular dining destination for me, and without a doubt, it offers the finest culinary experience in North Norfolk, and some of the best I've ever had. The food consistently exceeds expectations, with standout dishes like the Pork Belly and Venison, which are nothing short of exceptional variations on these classics.As someone who often brings dogs along, I've enjoyed dining in the bar area, which is both pleasant and inviting. The staff at the Orange Tree are consistently excellent, displaying deep knowledge of the menu and providing top-notch service.In summary, the Orange Tree is a true gem in North Norfolk. The consistently outstanding food, inviting ambiance in the bar, and the expertise of the staff make it a must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience. I eagerly look forward to returning.

Amazing food and service. Almost didn't stop here as we weren't sure how child friendly it was but I couldn't of been more wrong. The waitress was brilliant with my girls and the food was fantastic.

Came here with my girlfriend for a roast and it was an amazing experience from start to end.We were even given Champagne on the house as it was close to our anniversary, something that my girlfriend mentioned when booking but neither were expecting anything from it.We will definitely be returning when in the area! An all round delightful experience.

Excellent service! V well placed for walking to the beach. My prawn cocktail starter was the best ever! The Sea Bream main was a bit on the precious side, and the elderflower cheesecake a bit non. Nothing I would return, but not sure I'll be returning.

*dog friendly* If I could give this 10 stars I would. The food was exceptional. We were by the door, but when a table came free away from it, the hostess offered to move us. Fantastic service - knowledgeable and attentive. She even managed to find me Cinnamon liquor in the basement. Brilliant way to end our holiday.
