I purchased a dress in November 2016Ordered material and paid £90The store failed to have this ready in 6 months, completely lost my order. Finally managed to ask for a refund after speaking to the staff a million times. It is now June 2017 and I am still waiting for my refund.No refund no material. I ignored the very bad reviews but yes they are all true. Disgusting customer service. This company will completely ruin your big day. DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM.

I found my dress at the national wedding show at olympia.I'd previously tried on different styles elsewhere so I knew the style of dress I wanted. The lady on the stand was lovely and gave me confidence in my decision.The dress was stored at their Kingston store so I didn't see it again until my first fitting. I booked it in, and together Angie and I worked out the ideal time for the fitting to leave time for alterations.The shop isn't a traditional bridal shop but the bridal section is separate so this didn't bother me at all.When I arrived for my appointment Angie gave my mum and I space to I try the dress back on before coming to assist with alterations. I'd taken my shoes with me to allow for alterations to the length.The seemstress knew exactly what was needed to make the dress fit perfectly and helped us to pick out a veil too.The alterations were required reasonably priced and all done with no issues.Having read other reviews I was apprehensive but the team were great and the prices reasonable, don't be put off by them!Angie was great and so organised.No the shop doesn't look like much from outside, but don't judge a book by its cover! I got a dress that was the dress of my dreams and fitted perfectly.

Lovely staff in if you want any dress go a year before I've bin waiting 4 months my wedding is in June and they are still not come

DO NOT BUY ANY DRESSES FROM THIS SHOP.We had bought 3 bridesmaid dresses from this shop in August last year. Very happy with what they promised. We ordered Coral dresses with a cream sash. we were told that the dresses will be with us by March the latest before a June wedding. We had a call in April to come and collect as they were ready, when we turned up to collect they were coral dresses with a emerald green sash. I asked for them to be changed to what we ordered and 4 weeks later we received the dresses. Again still not right with peach sashes but 4 weeks before the wedding we made do with it. It wasn't until we tried them all on the dresses did not fit any of us, the measurements were taken by the manager upon ordering. We were so upset with it so went back to the shop to speak to the manager (we had booked an appointment) she was apparently off sick". The advise of the sales staff was to go to an alterers and see if they can do it (at our expense) when we went they straight away said no there was nothing they could do. so going back to the shop for a 2nd time we was informed that "this has never happened before" but upon reading reviews I can see that they are doing this all the time. So 3 weeks before the wedding we have had to go to a different bridal shop and pay triple the money for the dresses. We are in the process of trying to get the money back but are very doubtful This is going to happen. The staff are rude

Ordered a prom dress from here and the whole experience was lovely. However when the dress arrived it was too long and had to be altered. Angie tried to tell us that 2 inches too long was fine as you hold a long dress up when you walk. Not happy with that or the £35 requested for correcting their inaccurate measurement . Took it elsewhere to be shortened and it's now fine.

This is a specialist shop dealing with brides, bridesmaids etc. The staff are very uncaring and unprofessional. I had a dress made for a special occasion and was very disappointed in the service I received. Firstly I was told that the dress was being made in Japan, when we all know its China. When the dress arrived it was to small. They tried to say I had put on weight, when the problem was the makers were tring to save on material. When the next dress arrived it was far to long. I had to have it taken up at my own expense.When I took the dress from the shop the Lady that worked there tried to push it into a small bag. For the money I spent not even a dress bag.Very poor service indeed!!!!!!.

Had an absolute brilliant time at Oriental pearl. I went somewhere before to buy an evening dress for my function and i had a nightmare trying to find the perfect dress the staff was very horrible. After coming to Oriental Pearl the staff was very welcoming and helped my choose the best dress for my function. Thank you so much guys you have boosted my confidants up again !!! Will Definitely recommend !!

It's shame that there isn't ZERO star I could tick!Do not buy any wedding dress here,awful customer service and they break the promise for doing your dress, unbelievable cheating company! Once they charge your money and you'll never get your prefact dress done, I lost my dress twice when I picked my dress as they said that was the date I can pick up, and no one know where my dress was! The worst thing when I received my dress, it hasn't been shorten yet, and my wedding was coming soon! In the end I can't even get refund, so be aware this cheating Chinese company, they'll try to rob your money as soon as possible! It'll ruin your wedding and will never go back again!

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!! I came to this shop last summer to start the process of looking for dresses for my 6 bridesmaids. Came to November 2021 and we finally placed the order which we were told would be in the shop end of February beginning of march 2022 very latest. Came to march…. No order!! Phoned the shop and was told it was delayed and would be here end of march. End of march came…. No order!! Was told still delayed and would be here by Easter. Got to Easter…… no order!! My wedding was at the very beginning of June, so you can imagine we were all getting extremely frustrated at this point as all the dresses needed to be altered as well. We finally made the decision to go into the shop to get some answers, where we left even more angry than when we went it. The shop assistant could not tell us anything. She couldn’t tell me where my order was or if it had even been made. All she could tell me was ‘hopefully” they would arrive in time. I was absolutely disgusted with the service and lack of communication from the shop. We had all finally had enough. After paying the shop £600 upfront for custom made dresses, which had to be done, they were also refusing to give me a refund which is discussing as they clearly couldn’t get me the order on time, even tho i had placed it 7months before my big day. We decided to look else where and brought incredible dresses with Quiz and had to take a claim out with my bank, which i won to get my money back. This shop is horrendous!!!! Do not place an order and hand over money!!!! Worst company i have ever used and caused so much added stress to a wedding!!!! This shop will also rip you off with prices. I was originally told the dresses were £245. After explaining this was not in my budget, they took the price down to £100 a dress, and that was only because i told them that’s what i could afford. I’m sure they would have gone lower. They will charge you the highest price they can when clearly the dresses are not worth that.

DO NOT EVEN ENTER THIS SHOP!!Terrible service, totally unorganized, brought 4 bridesmaid dresses and had to be sent back 5 times due to wrong colour,wrong size, wrong length and even tho bridesmaids were measured they wasn't correctly. Many times I asked for a refund and was completely ignored. With 3 days before my wedding I still had no dresses and no money to purchase any others. Staff were incredibly rude and uncaring, they kept blaming it on the factory. Would of got better dresses from a car boot sale.Was completely stressed out over the whole situation where I should of been excited for my wedding and made my experience hell.
