Very friendly and an excellent service all round. Mick @ Barrie Cars is a top bloke and went out of his way to help me and my wife. I would highly recommend this company, very competitive prices and excellent after sales care, a rarity in the used car market.

I bought my car from Barriecars in the summer and what a great bunch of guys. Family owned business and they really do make you feel welcome. There's no pressure to buy, they are not pushing the sale, it's more about the customer service. The cars I looked at were in immaculate condition and reasonably priced. I would definitely keep them in mind when looking at my next vehicle purchase.

Bought a second hand car recently at Barriecars, what can I say, it was absolutely a pleasure to deal with a very professional team of guys, they went out of there way from start to finish. I recently got a new car thanks to KIA being literally useless. After dumping £700 on trying to fix it and KIA trying to tell me it was randomly immobilising itself because it had no oil (even after ensuring it was full of oil) I bit the bullet and financed a new car.So this is a big recommendation for Barriecars Ltd. They helped me out by double checking their finance wasn't better for me than the one I'd found, with no pressure to take finance from them either. They cleaned it up and put the car through the MOT, taxed it and informed the DVLA while I was there. The only thing I had to sort out a few days before pickup was my insurance. They were all lovely and friendly, incredibly patient while I spent easily an hour fielding phone calls with the credit company. We had some great conversations and laughs in between all the technical stuff too.Its been a couple of months since then and the car is still perfect and possibly the best thing I've ever decided to buy with credit, and even better its not a KIA. Anyway all this to say I can't recommend them enough. I'm incredibly grateful for all their help and of course, for a fully working, incredible car.(Copypaste from my FB)

Just paid for £10.00 petrol on the way to taking my 18 month old poorly baby to a&e. Charged me £20. Double!! I read the abrupt comment left by the owner to a previous reviewer, the customer is right! I've never heard of a bank taking double the transaction in my life, I dread to think how many people are robbed of their money and don't notice!. Absolutely disgusted and I won't be purchasing petrol from here again, if I don't get my money back I will be taking this further. --------------------------------------------In response to your reply I am aware I will get the money back but Im expressing that I don't agree with your system. Other merchants like sainsburys and tesco charge 1.00. I don't understand your policy when the money is charged straight from the card instantly so you know your getting the money as opposed to others who have pay at the pump who take it later so I would understand completely. What you must be aware of is it provisionally takes the money and you have to wait to get that back, I sure plenty of other customers agree with me on this. You need to work on your customer service skills instead of getting defensive and learn to speak in a professional manner.

I have bought 2 cars from Barrie cars now and they have been excellent both times!Mick is one of the nicest people you can meet and the whole experience was made so easy. When I asked to pick it up earlier there were no issues they made sure it was all done for me and my car is great.I would definitely recommend to buy your car from here!

We had a very pleasant experience at Barriecars from viewing, test driving and then purchasing a vehicle. This was a completely relaxed environment without any pressure or hard sales. The vehicle history was fully detailed and the transactional processes and warranty explained. Left feeling happy and confident in our purchase. Couldn't ask for better service.

After browsing through a number of car dealer sites I decided to look at Barriecars.My wife and I have known Mick for a number of years.We saw just the car we wanted, which was in immaculate condition I must say. We were shown around it and I decided to take it for a test drive.As is mentioned on several other reviews, there was no pressure on us to buy the vehicle. But on deciding to buy, Mick did all the necessary for us.The car was valeted and m.o.t'd and as the deal involved my old" car in part exchange the tax refund was also sorted.We left Barriecars thinking
