Mr Lovell & Son

After 2 weeks of hard work by Tim's team, my garden landscaping was completed in late May. Though there have minor things to be settled, we are satisfied with the patios, flower beds and pergola. The newly laid turf and the shrubs we planted are all growing well. We enjoy our new garden very much. Lovely! Thank you Tim, Malik and everyone involved in the project.

Tim’s team is professional, skill full and hardworking. Special thanks to Yarik, who always check our preference before work. With 2.5 weeks effort, the team can complete the garden work with my satisfaction. Price is reasonable.

They complete a revamp of our driveway. All old paving, gravel and concrete drive removed and all new block paving fitted, which looks great! The team were polite, friendly, professional, hard working and finished ahead of schedule. Would definitely recommend and will hire again when we are ready to revamp our back garden to match.

Really, really pleased we booked this company, they are so professional, and give a great service. Wonderful team of guys he got working for him, courteous, always on time, and a very good finish. Very tidy, always cleaned up, and left our garden perfect.We are very happy with the finish, it was a lot of hard work, but Ashley and Dan, worked wonders, and we now have new feather board fencing, new Pergola and really nice Indian sandstone patio, with a raised bed incorporated.Awesome team, awesome company

I would highly recommend Lovell & Son. Tim came round to give us a quote and was friendly, professional and took the time to talk us through everything. He also came up with some good ideas that we had not thought of ourselves. Ash did the patio work for us, with Joel. They arrived when they said they would and asked us what we wanted, instead of making assumptions or just doing it the way they wanted. They were friendly and polite and Ash worked hard redoing our drains which had been incorrectly put in by a previous company. They completed the job within the time frame given (despite the rain) and cleared away all rubbish afterwards, leaving the area tidy. We are extremely happy with the finished result, which is even better than we imagined, as Ash suggested some ideas that we hadn't thought of, which resulted in a better design. I definitely recommend using this company for your garden patio. Thank you to all three of you for making this a stress free process with a great end result.

Mixed review about mr Lovell and sons. The 3 guys sent round to do the garden were polite and the job is mostly as I wanted- it seemed a little rushed and I had to get hammer and knock in some sticking out nails on the decking and brush sand between the bricks on the path myself.Tim said he couldn't possibly get hold of topsoil at the beginning of the lockdown, and I had to get this myself (i found this very easy- every company I called had it)I had to shovel 3 tonnes of topsoil over the wall myself despite having paid tim for the labour.A big bag of grit that wasnt used was left on my street corner- I repeatedly asked for it to be taken away as it was in an inconvenient place and annoying my neighbours. It took 2 months and lots of excuses from tim to finally get it removed.I dont think there's a lot of communication between the boss and his team- another example was that I requested one type of decking from Tim and he said that would be fine but the boys weren't passed the message. I'm not denying that coronavirus has affected businesses a lot but I felt in some cases that it was being used as an excuse.It's not a bad job but I feel that I paid a lot to do quite a bit of the work myself!

We had a new fence installed recently and Tim was friendly and helpful throughout, personally managing the project from start to finish and communicating regular updates. The quality of workmanship is very good, with excellent attention to aesthetics and detail, choosing installation options above what would be normally required to ensure longevity and sturdiness, rather than cutting corners. All requests were followed readily and accurately, with helpful guidance given where needed. It was also great to see sensitivity towards the local ecosystem, carefully preserving natural habits and encouraging wildlife. Our thanks to Tim and his team!
