Very pleasant, well maintained and peaceful gardens. Excellent childrens play area, fenced and gated with soft surfaces and a no dog rule.Only lived here for35 years my first visit?????Had taken grandson to brilliant Halsted fire station open day and then picnic in the park. Great day out.

Great 50th anniversary of carols in the park after torchlight procession.Halstead has a very Very loyal mayor to the residents and is indeed a very warm hearted lady mayor. Good show to the hundreds of people who turned out on an extremely cold evening!

A very nice well kept public garden within the heart of Halstead. It has a nice band stand, Karen well maintained lawns and flower beds and shrubbery too. It has 2 nice play areas with usual suspects like seings, roundabouts and a slide too.Definitely a nice place to visit throughout tge year from a summer picnic or to see it lit up in winter too.

Lovely area to walk around with lots of seats if needed with shade if a warm day, and to watch the ducks on the pond is a lovely sight to see.

Nice traditional style park. Small, but relaxing. A pleasant duck pond and a very nice young children's play area.
