Birmingham Supported Housing
One of the worst places in Birmingham, staff moved me far away into barely even a flat that used to be a garage behind a shop and they moved me into a room where the tenancy still belonged to a woman who hadn’t been there for weeks, all her stuff was still there and she came back 1 day screaming and shouting in my face, the staff moved me out to another property but they let my PlayStation get stolen without doing anything about it, no support at all and they pester you for service charge like it’s extortion

-000.0 stars. If you need support this company provides the polar opposite to what they say they will provide on their website.. the crazy thing is this is actually one of the biggest supported housing companies in Birmingham. If your happy living in a substandard accommodation that is mouldy, has mice the size of rats, and prefer to not receive any support whatsoever, then you've come to the right company.. the properties are the closest thing you will ever come to slumming it.This is a perfect example of a cowboy operation where the whole service is held together by sticky tape and the only time this company ever actually services their properties is when they know the council will be coming out to access the properties. The company has zero concern for staff or tenants under their care, and I'd go so far as to say the tenants are seen as nothing more than cash cows..Word of advice to Livingwell supported housing... your tenants are far from Living well in their horrendous accommodations, and if you've bitten more than you can chew then maybe it's time to scaled-down the business and focus on a quality over quantity service and business model.... the irony in all this is that this company actually has the nerve to charge the tenants a service charge for this service.

I'm not giving it one star. it's just because there's no 0. I'm 19, and I left London at 18 to get an apprenticeship in Birmingham. But now I live with excons who've been in and out of prison and people with severe mental health problems. The only positive thing about this is experience is that I've gained muscle, but I did so to protect myself, cos you never know. I've been living like an HMP brudda, ALL MY FOOD is in my room, I eat in my room, I workout in my room, EVERYTHING THAT'S MINE is in my room. Even smelly clothes stay in my room cos the probability of it being stolen is SUPER HIGH.When it reaches dark, I stay in my room for my safety.UPDATE as of 24/7/23!I no longer live in those environments and haven't since February 2023, I moved back with my mum (ex-cons gave me more peace than she did) but I mangaed to arranged some appointments that landed me into a school that i wanted. I now live with my dad. But if I didn't live with my dad, I would have stayed at my mum's, worked full time, saved enough money and live in a cheap city like Sheffield or Birmingham (but in a civilian roomshare) then go to school.I'm now 20 and I'll tell YOU IMPORTANT LESSONS:Once you're in that environment, IT'S HARD TO GET OUT. On universal credit, I was getting £265 a month. The minute they know you're working full time, you are getting big boy rent money as if you own the whole building.MEN, avoid ALL WOMEN. WOMEN, avoid ALL MEN. In that environment, both genders are calculated EVEN STAFF. Ex-cons are the most DANGEROUS SIMPS. Women are the most CLEVER MANIPULATORS.YOU CANNOT SHOW WEAKNESS, idc what civilians say about this, LISTEN, the minute you show weakness as a man or woman, there's gonna be a calculated & strategic man that'll appear to be your friend" to help you. REJECT HELP FROM PEOPLE IN THERE

They treat tenants with very little respect because they have HMO properties and have a license which encourages isolation by denying visitors etc. They say one thing on the phone and contradict themselves by action or via written communication because they make false promises and agreements. Their support workers are always changing for the ‘tenants’ and therefore there is an immense lack of support and they dont abide to their own license agreement.

Absolutely terrible. They allowed a mother and baby to move into a property knowing it breaks their license agreement, to then harass her on a frequent basis about empty rooms. She looked after the property and redecorated out of her own pocket as it was in a bad state when she moved in, no gas or electricity for the whole of December. After just 3 months issued her with an eviction notice to get out in 7 DAYS!!! Claiming it is a safeguarding risk, even though they new from the beginning. The star i have given goes to the maintenance guy Lewis, who works so hard to fix properties, basically on his own.No consistency with support workers which were changing constantly due to staff turnover. Ive previously had a licence with them and know their priorities are money not people.Absolutely Atrocious service and behaviour from what’s meant to be support for those who can’t get support elsewhere.Avoid at all cost, they lie and have no paper trail!!

Dont work for this company! Staff turn over is ridiculous. Such a unprofessional organisation who lack in people skill and treat their staff like absolutely nothing, they expect you to work your backs off and in return you dont get apreciated and get called in for ridiculous meetings to tell you have you havent worked well.. also pay is so soo bad for rhe things they make you do. The office manager is the reason why everyone has left one by one, he needs training. All about money here!

This is one of the ONLY genuine supporthousing places in Birmingham. Not only do they actually provide support, they are using the housing benefits money to help do what so many scumbag conartists don't. They care.I've lived in 11 supported housing places and it's absolutely DISGUSTING how people can let vulnerable people live without any basic human rights. I was left starving and ignored by the fake support worker while I had no medication food or hot water for months. It's really important to know that majority of these agencies are liars who push ppl into signing forms that give thousands of pounds for support but you end up in a dangerous unsafe place. This one is real. They are hard working and I can't express how much I am grateful for the help and support they gave.I wish I still had their support.
