Damira Quayside Dental Practice

Akaf Rashid - Saw to me and my toddler. He was one of the best attentive dentists we have had for my son he catered to him well and for myself who has previously been with a private dentist for 19 years and then a NHS dentist for 11 years who recently closed, Akaf was amazing. The practice is also well present and clean. Receptionist was friendly. I will definitely continue to go here. There was only a short wait time but the practice is new and your appointment is not rushed you get a full service like back in the day and not what most modern dentists tend to do now with just a open your mouth and done so bare with them I'm sure they will get faster as time goes on.

I can only say that my experience at Damira quayside was the best I have had at a dentist in my 63 years.My dentist Akaf and nurse Lauren, made me feel at ease and were professional and friendly. I have already recommended the practice to some of my family.Thank you again and I will no longer dread my visits again.

Initially visited for a check up, then came back for 3 fillings. My dentist Akaf has been great in explaining the process, and was patient with me throughout the procedures..I don't think I made it easy for him!Receptionists are super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Easy to register, lots of appointment slots available at convenient times,amazingly clean with welcoming staff. Very friendly and helpful dentist who explained treatment options and appointment booked within a few days to get treatment completed. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Very pleasant surroundings, no fuss , examination completed. Two fillings required and completed at the same visit.Perfect consultation after waiting three years with my own dentist due to the fact I didn’t fit their PROTOCOL.Brilliant and couldn’t have been bettered

After receiving appalling treatment at my own dentist I urgently needed to find a new dentist. As soon as I phoned Damira & spoke to Marius I knew I had found the right place. Marius was so polite & helpful, providing me with all the information I needed and arranging an initial new patient consultation within days. When I arrived for my appointment he had already spoken to my new dentist to explain my circumstances. My dentist & assistant were lovely as well, I had a thorough consultation & treatment planned and explained to me. I am now confident of the dental care I will provided with

This was the first time that I have been this dental practice. First impressions were good. The waiting area and surgery are clean, bright and modern. Reception staff were great: friendly and welcoming. I did have to wait about 30 minutes later than my appointment time until I was seen, which wasn’t so good. The dentist apologised for the wait time, when I entered the surgery. He introduced himself; he was friendly, professional and carried out a thorough inspection of my teeth. He asked a number of questions about my dental history. Unfortunately, I did find it a little difficult to understand what he meant, when spoke quickly. I had to ask him to repeat and I’m still not sure that I understood. When he spoke slowly, it was easier to understand. Maybe, as it was the first time we’d met, I wasn’t quite tuned into what he was saying.This was my first NHS appointment for a number of years, as a previous NHS dentist had become private and I had little choice as I couldn’t find another NHS dentist until Damira Quayside opened. The appointment was not rushed, as I had feared it would be. I am pleased to have found an dentist providing NHS services.This review would have been 5 stars, but the waiting time dropped it to 4 stars.

We haven't been with the practice long but can't fault the service we have had. Marius is great always happy to greet you. Perfect person for front of house. Well done Damira..Jacky and Chris Paterson

Staff were very friendly & welcoming. First time meeting my dentist Akaf and made me feel comfortable & at ease the minute I walked in the room. Very reassuring & explained things thoroughly! Dental nurse, Lauren was also so lovely too! All in all positive experience!
