A proper cheese shop, where you can taste before you buy. I bought some fantastic raw milk Wensleydale and superb Swaledale farmhouse. And the smoked cheese is to die for! Will definitely return.

We visited The Cheese Press today for the first time and were delighted with our purchase. Artisan British and continental cheeses are available as well as a wide range of biscuits, chutneys and pickles. We had the chance to try a cheese before buying which was very helpful. We bought three cheeses all of which are in perfect condition. Highly recommended and will definitely be going back!

The lovely Amber opened up early as I was travelling with business. She assembled an exquisite cheeseboard for a dinner party centred around local cheeses and sundries. Very knowledgeable. Looking forward to my next visit and a tasting evening and even talk of a cheese subscription service. Watch this space!

Lovely little establishment. Arrived right at the end of the day and a bespoke charcuterie box was conjured up in a very short time. The box was immaculately presented; cheeses, meats, nuts and relishes complemented each other perfectly.A genuine pleasure for a very reasonable price.
