Worst tasting pastries we've ever had. We bought first thing in the morning too. Coffee was so bad we didn't finish it and the staff were incredibly rude.

I often WFH from Bean as the coffee is great (50p off if you take your own cup) and there are comfortable tables to work from with plenty of plugs around. There is always a constant flow of people who work locally coming to get their morning coffee. Order the toast with jam too, it’s super thick and soaked in butter!

Great little coffee spot with friendly staff. Jake is great and always have a nice and friendly compliment for you. It’s a very airy location with plenty of room and a chill vibe. Even when there’s a lot of people there, it doesn’t feel crowded. Perfect quiet spot for work or to relax.

I absolutely love it here. Incredible coffee and staff. Special mention to Jake and Alex. They’re absolutely lovely and brilliant at their jobs. I could go on and on. Couldn’t recommend this place more.

Stayed at a nearby hotel and didn't fancy a big (expensive) hotel breakfast, so popped into Beans. Not a huge choice for breakfast, but enough for a little bite. However, the wonderful coffee more than makes up for it. The place is big with plenty of seating, bright, and airy. Good service.As we were leaving, we could see that more stuff was being prepared. Probably a lot more choice of food for food for lunch.

Love this place - chilled vibes, wonderful staff, had a couple of long blacks - fruity, easy, fab view of the docks. Coffee beans available to buy and member of staff very kindly offered to grind them for me. Pop in when you can!

Our first visit to Bean Coffee in Chapel Street and enjoyed by all. Standard of food & coffee excellent. Helpful, friendly staff and I'm sure we'll be popping in again.NOTE: for users of wheelchairs, access is via steps

Came in for a takeaway coffee after sorting a passport out.Top 5 coffees I've ever had! No joke! So velvety smooth and watching the guy make it, I knew he was skilled and putting some love into it!I made a joke about having to have a pistachio cannoli when I saw them. He successfully upsold me 3! Which I said my wife would be happy if one managed to survive the drive home. So he bagged one for my wife and 3 for me. What a legend. Made my trip over! Can't recommend enough and I'll be back for sure and I'll bring the family!Thank you sir X you're special!
