ibis Cambridge Central Station

The hotel is conveniently located next to the Cambridge train station, with several dining options in the vicinity. The breakfast was delicious. Although the room was clean, it was small, and the bathroom was even smaller. It feels like being in a cruise cabin. There seems to be no reception at the hotel, and no phone in the room, so if you have any issues, good luck. My bathroom sink was clogged upon arrival, but thankfully someone fixed it the next day. All-in-all, it was neither the worst experience nor the best. Check in was super fast, and the employee outside the elevator doing the check-in was very nice.

Smart hotel with a buzzy downstairs cafe/bar, cute rooms in a great location by Cambridge station. Only one gripe: when we mentioned our TV had no signal were told the 'IT guy" wasn't there so there was nothing they could do. We were moved to a new room

I made this booking in order to visit as many exhibitions that I could without worrying about train departure. From start to finish everything went as it should...perfectly. As I have a mobility issue, the location of the hotel in respect to the station was also perfect. The weather even cooperated by being sunny.

The hotel is located directly across from the railway station about a 20 minute walk into the centre of town. Check in was easy and the staff very friendly. The room was very clean and tidy with everything you need for a pleasant stay. A good night’s sleep with no noticeable noise and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was a buffet with a choice of hot and cold food. I thought the hot food only average but there were several other options.

An easy walk from the hotel to the city. Station was next door but not remotely intrusive. Rooms felt very safe as you needed a key card to work the lifts or use the staircase. Clean room and bed extremely comfy. Highly recommend

Their cafe is really nice. The receptionists were very sweet. Both Susanna and Blanca were very kind and helpful. During my travel I forgot to print some papers and they even printed it out for me. Lovely staff!

The room was comfortable, but should have been cleaned to a higher standards. The towels left in the room had stains on them.The cafe on the ground floor would not serve what you ordered. They needed reminding multiple times and occasionally I had to wait for >45 minutes for my order. You would hear the staff arguing about who is doing what! Very unprofessional !I have stayed in this hotel before, and it was better.

Your polite and efficient staff did a good job. The sitting /cafe area is well designed and welcoming which is unusual for a low end hotel. The room was spartan and slightly worn - needs refreshing and felt slightly dirty. Very annoying that the phone charger I left in my room disappeared and could not be returned to me after a few hours.

Located close by to the station and a short walk to the centre of the city, it was perfect for an overnight stay. Room was in great condition and probably the best hotel rooms I’ve been in! Only downfall would be the cost of one night for one person but if split between two, it would be valuable! I found that there was no need for breakfast as there’s coffee shops nearby but the option is there and would be worth going if you’re after a hot meal.
