Extremely disappointed in her attitude and the inconveniences caused by Lydia. We had a meet & greet in place and although it has been raining all morning (most people would check the weather forecast) she decided to cancel on me last minute when I have had to rearrange plans to make it suitable for her timing. I explained although I understand the weather is not good she could have given me more notice and to please give more notice if this was to happen again in the future. Rather than her simply accepting this and acknowledging where she went wrong ahe decided to take her frustration out on me and cancel completely after rearranging for the next day as she was clearly bitter that I had mentioned the inconveniences caused. If i had said it in a rude manner I would understand, however as she could clearly tell from the message I acknowledge it is bad weather and simply requested her to give me more notice I feel she handled this horrendously and wasted more of my time and now I have to find another service last minute.Lydia maybe in future you should change your attitude towards potential customers and not cause them inconveniences because you wanted to cancel on them last minute. Have some understanding and grow up for godsake.That was my message to you so please don't lie: Hi Lydia

Lydia has been looking after our French Bulldog for a few years now and has always provided a very professional, thoughtful and responsive service. We feel very well looked after by Lydia and would have no hesitation to recommend. And our dog loves her!!

As dog owners we were very reluctant to put our dog into a kennel. Home boarding was the best solution for us and we started the process of finding someone to look after our new pup Barney early this year.We spoke to a number of people before we decided to use Lydia’s service.From day one she made it clear she would only accept a dog if it’s temperament was right and he got on well with not only her own dog but other dogs stopping with her, which was very reassuring to us.After a successful trial day followed by a trial overnight stay, Barney stopped with Lydia for a week. Barney came away bouncing and happy and it is clear he has been well looked after.Lydia was very thorough with every process especially at the beginning and we were pleased this was the case as it reassured us that she had the dogs interests at heart and that we were leaving Barney with someone we could trust. That attention to detail was a big reason for choosing Lydia.We also appreciated the daily photos on the Facebook page which again made us feel at ease during our holiday.Overall, we are extremely happy with how Barney has been cared for and would not hestitate in using Lydia again or recommending her to our friends and family.Thank you :)

We have been using Paws for thoughts for last 1.5 years. Lydia has been fantastic with our lovely boy. Archie don’t like it anywhere else. Lydia looks after Archie like her own. We recently left Archie for a month and it was great. She posted pictures of Archie everyday and quick to response for our messages. Thank you :)

I have known Lydia for a number of years. I'm an experienced dog owner and have done courses in dog management and behaviour. Lydia us extremely professional and really cares about the dogs she looks after. I see her regularly in a number of different parks with a mixed group of dogs. Lydia goes out of her way to respond to the differing needs of each individual dog. I'm retired and don't need the services of a dog walker. However, if I did, Lydia would be my number one choice to take care of my dog.

Lydia has a wonderful way with dogs of all ages and my puppy has benefited so much from his weekly sessions with her. She is extremely thorough and takes every precaution regarding covid19. The dogs she looks after are well disciplined and have plenty of love, attention, exercise and play. I would recommend Paws for Thought and Lydia wholeheartedly.

We have used this service for our Cockapoo, Teddy, on many occasions and have been completely satisfied every time. Lydia is very organised when arranging stays, kind and caring to our Ted and she posts pictures on her Facebook page everyday so that we can see just how happy he is with his fellow boarders, having so much fun with them. This is so reassuring for us to look at, wherever we may be in the world. We would recommend Paws for Thought Solihull to anyone.
