I live in Watford but travel to Clacton regularly to my caravan and purposely wait for a hair cut from Pete as I find him friendly, professional and very well priced. Always a tidy environment and a nice experience because he always remembers his customers, not just another body through the door.

Brilliant when he's open, but he's been closed more than he's been open this year and for weeks at a time. At the moment, he's closed for a month.

2nd time this summer I've been for a haircut and he's been closed both times. The last time was 12 July and a note on the door states that he'll re-open 11th August. Spent 2 hours getting there and back by bus.If he's off on holiday, why the can't he put the dates closed on his website. You do get a good haircut though . . . . when open.

Best barbers in town! I've been coming here for over 40 years and never had a bad haircut, always very friendly and professional and the premises are spotlessly clean. I now live in frinton but I still make the journey to Pete's as no other hairdressers I've tried locally have a patch on Pete's.
