A lovely setting good place for walking but really muddy in places, a warm friendly welcome in the cafe beside the lochan. Limited menu but well prepared.

Nice looking water but that's where it ends. The anglers aren't properly catered for, there is only the restaurant staff there until the cafe opens at 11am and even then there's no one to give any tips on what is catching and there's no flies, nylon or any sort of tackle for sale a d if you are lucky enough to catch fish they aren't good quality. I won't be back.

Craufurdland is great place for a days fishing,well stocked with good fighting trout.Staff are helpful and the food from the Lairds Table is lovely. Other outdoor activities are also available . Great scenery

Excellent day here with really hard fighting good quality trout landed 5 dropped a few and had some more offers really enjoyed myself today !!!

Was very disappointed today not with the fishing or the surroundings, but with the service on food, on asking for a beef burger I was told that it would be £14.95 which was ridiculous I asked for a roll in sausage or egg I was told that breakfast was finished at 11.30 this was 11.40 amWhen you’re fishing all you want is a roll and a coffee !

A lovely spot for fisherman to test their skills, only a couple of miles from Kilmarnock town centre.Plenty of parking spaces and the excellent Lairds Table restaurant nearby.(sadly closed for now due to the bloody pandemic)

Good setup, reasonable prices, only issue is the algae bloom in the water, but fish still getting caught, cheers.
