Barry was absolutely brilliant. From the initial request for a quote (which was a very reasonable price) all the way through to sending us our wedding photos, he was incredibly friendly and got back to us promptly. I'm happy to admit he was one of the few people I didn't worry about at all in the lead-up to my wedding - and I was stressing a lot throughout!Both me and my partner found Barry to be really easy to talk to, and he was always available to chat via phone or email if we did have any concerns or needed to confirm details for the wedding day. He was friendly and professional, and was always on hand to give us advice but never pushy. He took the time to listen to us and despite us only having a small wedding party of 10 people he adapted well and reassured us everything would be fine.On the wedding day he arrived earlier than planned, which initially made me panic because I was having my makeup done at the time and I thought it was later than it actually was, but he quickly put us all at ease, and I'm so grateful that he chose to spend more time with us because it gave him the opportunity to take photos of moments that might have otherwise been missed. I'm not normally comfortable having my photo taken but Barry was so laid back and gave us space to relax and enjoy the day. Furthermore, in the nicest possible way I say this, at times I almost forgot he was there.The final cut of the wedding photos arrived far quicker than expected, and despite us only having a small wedding, the sheer number of photos he sent us is amazing. I was a bit hesitant at first about whether some of the outdoor photos would turn out nice because we were surrounded by a lot of concrete buildings that I wasn't particularly keen on, however leave it to Barry to know how to take the perfect angle so it looks like we're standing in a nice park/field!All of the photos are genuinely beautiful, and there's a delicate intimacy throughout which perfectly reflects the nature of our wedding. I feel so incredibly grateful for having Barry as our wedding photographer. Without a doubt I will be recommending him to family and friends.
