Had a Sunday roast and the food was amazing! The gravy was out of this world and the beef was cooked perfectly.The waitress was very friendly and the pub has a great atmosphere with live music on most nights. Will definitely visit again and look forward to enjoying another roast there soon

We had our Christmas party at Pogues and we could not have chosen a better venue! From the very first contact all my queries were answered and accommodated, all staff were attentive on the night helping us set up. We did not need to queue for hours to get served through out the night. The food we had was also perfect, there is not one fault i can find with our evening! Would certainly return here for future bookings and will just to stop by for a drink as the atmosphere in this venue is great over all!!

Live music Thursday to Sunday, amazing roasts on Sunday plus even tho its situated in an area that normally entertains 18-21 yr olds its has a over 25 policy that means you get a different crowd to any other venue on the street

A group of 10+ friends booked a table in October for a Christmas meal and get together at the end of November. Only for the duty manager to cancel the booking with less than a weeks notice because they now have taken a more profitable booking. Awful customer service and we are left this close struggling to find an alternative to take a group as large as ours. If this is how you treat customers I will not be visiting in the future.

Having visited on a Saturday for a few drinks and now a Sunday roast! I can highly recommend anyone visit, it has such a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and great staff.The roast dinner is super tasty and the portion sizes are so generous (as is dessert).I will definitely be coming back a lot more!

Great atmosphere, first time there for a few drinks, Guinness was very good, staff helpful and efficient we will definitely be going back

Nice enough gaff but I've never been served by someone who was more interested in texting than engaging with customers and pouring a pint. The guy seemed nice enough but you just don't do that. World's gone mad.
