Fraud fraud fraud the worst experience ever, Iv been a very loyal and long standing customer shopping here since my daughter was born and been loyal for 11 years and was so disappointed when I could use my 20% off at the check out on a £105.70 order when I religiously shop at matalan stores in Halton. I requested for a manager. Andy arrived as he was the manger at the Leeds Halton branch simply told no as the valid date was out by 1 day and compared to the 11 years Iv shopped there was very poor level of service I do understand the gravity of my dissatisfaction however manager can make that exception looking over the years Iv spent there but a simple no was given I felt embarrassed in front of my wife and daughter. I guess best to shop at Asda or Tesco would be more appreciating than this shard please view my receipt and view my comments on twitter and google trust pilot.

Shopped first time. The staff were absolutely amazing, I can only re call a couple of names of the staff, Lisa and Andy (store manager) were very friendly and helpful, I requested them to save me a couple of items which weren’t available at my local branch, they honoured my request. Amazing customer service and good prices overall . I’d rate them 5 star.

Wasn't overly impressed, stopped selling size 3+8 shoes which you have to buy online which is silly because I like to try them on. Toilets are now gone so the only facilities if you need the loo is Ardale Centre.

As a disabled woman who uses a mobility scooter, Matalan was something of a challenge. The store is not particularly accessible; I had to work hard to avoid stands of clothes, keep backing up and turning. This doesn't make for an enjoyable shopping experience.I was disappointed that there are now only three changing rooms. The 'accessible' was occupied for some time so I opted to use another room. There was no stool in there, which I most certainly would have found useful; I have a condition that makes standing up a struggle and I often feel faint and need to sit down. This wasn't an option in that changing room. Lesson learned, I suppose.All in all, some consideration would be greatly appreciated in terms of not placing strands of clothes too close together and thinking about putting stools in the changing rooms.Thanks.

Staff are to be desired and the range isn't great. Bit overpriced but you can get a few bits either for home or clothing.

Have always liked shopping here but was disappointed yesterday now that the number of changing rooms has been reduced to 3. There was a big queue the whole time we were there. People started to put things back rather than try them on. We didn't try everything on as we were worried about taking too long as everyone was getting frustrated in the queue, and so just didn't buy some of the stuff we had picked up. Also the cubicles are now out in the open so you can't walk out the cubicle without everyone in the shop seeing what you have tried on. The heat didn't help yesterday with people's frustration but I don't understand why they have made the changing experience so unpleasant.
