I have complained before. This time I must praise the young lady at the Reception Desk..she is good and has changed the image of the facility. She listens and tries to accommodate as much as she can. The doctors here are the best...and have always been. I am happy and thankful.

I visited a Nurse today at 2pm and he (Owias) was absolutely fantastic. He addressed the issues I had and was very helpful / insightful. Excellent surgery. Thank you.

This GP deserved 0 stars review. Unfortunately this is not an option. My family (2+2) been with this GP for many years now. Originally this GP was led by Doctor Pathak and his wife. By then GP was functioning a bit better. In these days the place is in a right mess. The front reception people cannot deal with anything more than 1+1. Information flow between the reception staff doesn't work. Information flow between reception staff and doctors doesn't work too. Getting an appointment seems to be impossible due to telephone line being overloaded. There is only one quality doctor there. Rest of them seems to be doing things in a hurry trying hit the patients numbers but not actually help to resolve the problems.I'm sharing few examples here, only few. To share them all it will be a book size of writing.1. Routine wide blood test done at GP. Results clear. I then done blood test privately and got urgent referral to hospital and looks like the surgery is coming my way2. I've asked GP for privet referral for the scan. After 10 days no progress. Called in over the phone and been told it will be done later in a day. It wasn't done. It took further 5 days and many phone calls to GP to get this simple thing sorted3. I've asked GP for a copy of the privet referral. Been told it will be processed later in a day. Called back after the weekend and been told this cannot be processed and I need to send an email. I've sent an email and few days later nothing. Called back in and been told this cannot be processed by email and I need to come to GP!4. New born had severe diary allergy and reflux. 4 months of an absolutely nightmare at home. Stress and tears. GP doing not enough, trying fix the problems by themselves instead of referring us to the specialists. Finally we got the referral but it's all too late5. 18m having severe constipations problem. GP responding to our reports very slow and seemed to now understanding of parents stress and child being in a pain. Finally referred us to constipation clinic. Just before we went see the specialist GP invited us for the final assessment. The person who we went to see wasn't a doctor (he will be a doctor in few yrs time). While I was taking child clothes off to prepare for the tummy assessment, the fake" doctor told me to stop and said "I only need to tick the box to say I saw your child". This visit triggered the door getting opened to see the specialist. Unfortunately after few min of seeing the specialist (nurse working in line with government guidance) we have been sent back home. This is because the specialist can only investigate if GP completed the physical assessment of the abdominal area. This made us as parents cry.Stay away from this place but of you already registered here report them to the Watchdog."

I hadn't been to this surgery before, but had a blood test there yesterday. Lots of free parking, very pleasant staff and treatment was fine. Very professional set up overall. Thank you!

Is the most useless Surgery in the uk. I do not know why is still exit. I was on the line for 30 minutes waiting to get an appointment for my 6 years old child who was aick and after they pick the call, they will tell you unfortunately we don't have an appointment. I always regret registering with them but unfortunately I still live in the area.

So,I had knee injure last Wednesday, call to make apoitment on Thursday to GP (BTW this is my only day off during the week) - no avaible slots to GP (again ...I think it was 3rd time in a row when I was calling). Went to A&E Heywood, however they do not give prescriptions. Called again to GP and they didn't have slots of course for seeing me for 2 minutes to prescribe painkillers.Borrowed some codamol from friend.Today is another Thursday and called for seeing doctor for two minutes to prescribe painkillers.....no F* avaible doctors again..I work in hospital and I will sort it out with my prescription in other way, but this surgery should be closed down to lack of proper service.Shame on you !

Doctors are ok but near impossible to get an appointment. I’ve been told you can’t book in advance only on the day and you have to ring at 8am, any later and you won’t get an appointment making this service very inaccessible. Everyone is told the same so the phone lines are overloaded for a while after 8am and you can’t even get into the queue because there are too many people calling for the phones to handle. All doctors appointments are gone within about 10/15 minutes after calling several times only to be cut off because the phone queue is full. You basically have to have a whole day free to get a doctors appointment because you don’t know what time is available if you are lucky and manage to even get an appointment. This system needs changing. Considering changing doctors.
