Christine's on the Green

Didn’t actually eat anything. Went with my elderly mother, first impressions loud music playing and doors open so not that inviting. We persevered, chose eggs Benedict from the menu, initially the server did not recognise the item and then checked with kitchen and they didn’t have the ingredients. Decided to move on.It’s a shame because clearly a lot has been invested in the establishment but the quality of service did not live up to expectations.

Ordered 4 food platters for my 3 year old daughter's birthday. Service was absolutely brilliant. Christine even came and met us to collect the platters to save us travelling far. Can't say enough about the quality of the food. If I could have rated higher the 5 star, I would most do so! Christine was also kind enough to give a birthday cake since she knew it was for my daughter's birthday.We have also had the pleasure of going to the cafe and also can't rate that high enough. Food was great and staff were so welcoming and friendly which made a great atmosphere in the whole place.Anyone who doesn't visit their cafe or use them to order food platters is 100% missing out! Thanks again, Christine!!

Visited Christine's this morning.Busy little place. Nice decor.Lovely Morton's roll and coffee.Sat outside. Coffee so good I went back for a second cup to walk home with. Will be back.

Just what Milngavie has been waiting for. Not your usual standard fare. Delicious coffee and great cake selection. Staff very personable, always service with a smile here! The owner Christine is just fabulous! Takes the time to speak to all of the customers who come through her door.

Went for lunch with a group of people from work.We all ordered burger meal deals and the wait time was fairly reasonable for our orders.Staff couldn't of been nicer to us, really made for a good atmosphere.Never had any of their sweet treats/cakes but all looked really good.I can see this being a more regular lunch time visit especially with the outdoor seating for summer.

I finally settled on an all-day breakfast I was blown away by the quality of their all-day breakfast and the size of their cappuccinos. The food was cooked to perfection, with each dish bursting with flavor and cooked to the customer's preference. The coffee was equally impressive, with a large cappuccino that was incredibly delicious with the right balance of coffee and milk, out of this world!The atmosphere of the cafe was fantastic, with friendly staff who were attentive and helpful. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing breakfast or brunch. Popped in for a coffee for myself and an ice cream for my son. The staff were both really friendly and chatty which was lovely. The place looked meticulously clean and the decor was modern and tasteful. The coffee was really good and my son loved his ice cream. I'd highly recommend this lovely wee cafe.

Been here a few times now. Tried today's special chicken and chilli mayo wrap. Amazing loads of filling. Love the garlic potatoes when I order a salad bowl. Thank you for lunchtime chat ladies and see you after Italy!
