About the Business

Weobley Castle | Cadw | High-society home with its very own watchtowerYour abiding memory of Weobley will be its dramatic location on the windswept coast of the Gower peninsula – overlooking marshes and mudflats with the wild Llwchwr estuary beyond. This epic view must be the same today as it was 700 years ago when this fortified manor house was raised in stages by the wealthy de la Bere family, stewards to the lords of Gower.

Very cool castle and a must see in the area. When we arrived we were the only people there so it was great to take pictures without people in it. A lot of exploring you can do here. There were also adorable dogs here that loved some pets and cuddles! There is also a road you can hike down from here to the shore line.

Great place by the sea. The ruins are nice to visit. There during LoveTrails festival.. great walks with amazing views. Worth the visit and worth exploring the local area.

A little gem of a place to visit. We'll worth the £4 entry fee. Friendly staff offered to watch our bikes .

A beautiful ruined castle. View from there is magnificent and gets me imagined an ancient lives who lived here. Payed admission fees at the farmhouse where some packed lambs are sold. £11.60 for family of four. Kids under 5 is free. Parking space is not large and seems about up to 5 cars.

Don't let the first glance fool you, this castle is exceptionally photogenic.Lot of rooms with knocks and cranny to explore. Then sit on the garden bench and watch the ponys down on the field out towards the water.

We visit Weobley Castle every year, a family favourite. Small but very picturesque, never very busy either.

Despite being from the area, we didn't even know this castle existed! It's easy to find but parking is limited. The castle itself is great. There are lots of nooks for little ones to explore. It's set in a beautiful location with fabulous views over the estuary.Payment is made in the farmhouse next to the castle. You can buy small tubs of GG's ice cream, and there are a few benches outside if you want to sit and relax. I'm not sure if we were allowed to use the rope swing in the farmhouse grounds, but our little one loved it.

Lovely little castle. Its not very big and there's not a lot to do but we had it all to ourselves and my children loved exploring by themselves. On a lovely sunny day would be good with a picnic

We used our English Heritage card for free entry to the castle. The ruins are well preserved and one room intact which has an exhibition of Weobley castle and others. There is a tiny layby to park in just before the farmhouse that will sort your entry out.
