Myself and my partner want to thank everyone at MiNightVet for their help and support following the sudden loss of our little princess Tia. We felt Tia was in the best care and also felt we had all the information to come to the heartbreaking decision to put her to rest.

We took our dog to this out of hours vet back in early May. He had what looked like a bad eye infection that had worsened over a few days. When we got to the surgery I found the vet on duty quite rude and blunt. Our dog is a pin min (tiny thing) and due to him being wary and nervous he wouldn't allow us to muzzle him. The vet suggested that herself and her 2 other collogues took him out the back to try techniques to do so. She came back 5 mins later without my dog, but told me while doing so he's eye had burst. I demanded to see CCTV footage of what 'techniques' were used, but funnily enough the CCTV happened to not be working! My dogs eye looked like it had burst and was covered in blood. One of the male vets on duty, had apparently had my dogs head in-between his knees (so my dog couldn't move) so I can imagine this resulted in too much pressure, causing us to head straight to London for surgery for his eye to be removed.I have since then sent x2 letters to the practice asking for the person in charge to contact me as I want to see the CCTV footage, but guess what, they have blanked both of my signed for letters. I am in the process of taking this further.Do not take your animals here, the out of hours vet in Herne Bay have a lot more compassion.

My 8 week old puppy needed to go to the emergency vets after having surgery, and Claudia, Naomi and the team took great care of her. They were very reassuring, didn't mind us calling regularly for updates, and took care in explaining everything that was going on with our puppy's care. They played with her when she was awake and provided her toys to keep her happy as well. Thank you to the team for providing wonderful service and for nursing our puppy back to health!

Bill my cat taken very ill in the night 17-08-23, our local out of ours vet was not available, instead of a 45 min journey to Ashted they gave the number for Mi Night Vet Canterbury in the hope that they be able to help.I called and was told they had more than enough critical cases of their own to deal with.I understand if they were busy and unable to help but was astonished at the attitude of the woman who I spoke to.I am someone who is calm in an emergency so perhaps she misunderstood the nature of situation but still I find it hard to excuse extreme rudeness.It is unusual to encounter callousness in the veterinary community.

We phoned the surgery and were given excellent advice,we then visited and were treated in a very professional and compassionate way by Naomi and her colleague.A first class service, many thanks.
