Morar Living, Kincairney House Care Home

This home treats the staff and service users appallingly. Hundreds of wage discrepancies every month that never get fixed. Sometimes people don't get paid at all! Staff are treated like numbers and not people. The manager is rude and approachable and she has made it very clear she doesn't care for the staff, not to mention impossible to contact as she's never in on time.Staff are *quietly* encouraged to disregard service users consent for personal care to make it easier for the next shift coming in.We're short staffed tomorrow so loads of people need to be up" are words I've heard far too many times from seniors and management!I'd never let a relative near this place."

As a family, we feel compelled to share our experiences with Morar Living, particularly our mother's 18-month residency at Kincairney House in Perth. Our hope was that her time there would improve and a succession of new managers and staff gave us that hope. To move a lady at that stage of her life would have been traumatic and she was so badly damaged following an accident in the home about a year before her death that it would have been impossible to find another care home to take her. Sadly, her final days at Kincairney House continue to haunt us.One of the most troubling aspects is the advertising of palliative care" by Morar Living. We question how such a term can be used to describe the care provided

Quite simply, an outstanding care home. My partners mother resided in the home before she sadly passed in December 2023. The quality of personal care and compassion shown was so impressive. I cannot speak highly enough about all the staff we encountered. The attitudes and values shown were first class. I can thoroughly recommend this care home as a quality facility in a beautiful living environment.Many thanks to all the staff for their efforts to ensure that Muriel had the best possible experience.

The home in new, clean and well run by efficient and pleasant staff, however the meals have been an issue and continue to be. Processed and tinned food is used far too often for what is supposed to be a premium home that charges top rates.

More like a hotel than a care home.
