Lovely independent gift shop close the The Shore. Has a great selection of items and really good service, including a local delivery option which is fast and well communicated. Nice personal touches that come with supporting a small business, such as a handwritten thank you card with the order. Definitely worth a browse, either in person or online, for presents or a treat for yourself :)

I ordered a bucket list from Destined for Home and it came beautifully wrapped with a handwritten note from the owner (so sweet!). Karen also texted me to let me know when she'd send the bucket list and then with a tracking number which is much appreciated. I'd love to visit the shop in person next time in in Edinburgh!

Destined For Home in Edinburgh.I have ordered a couple of times on line and Karen is lovely. My latest black layered tulle skirt purchase arrived promptly this morning and I love it.Karen stocks a wide range both online and in the shop in Leith. Well worth the visit.

I visited 'Destined for Home' last week and had a fabulous experience. A heartfelt welcome from Karen and her gorgeous spaniel Harley. She has a very varied selection of scottish and other products catering for all tastes and purses. Definitely the place to go for a Scottish present. Especially Leith. Highly recommend.

I'd heard great things about Destined for Home and I was looking for Christmas presents from local shops this year, so decided to order from here online as I knew what I wanted. Using click and collect, I got my items super fast, I collected them within 45 minutes of ordering, and they were even wrapped as well. A truly fantastic experience with a whole host of personality in such a short exchange. It's one that definitely encourages me to continue to buy from local shops instead of from huge multinational chains

I ordered a very lovely bright pink dress which amazingly arrived the following day ( from Edinburgh to Devon). The customer service was second to none and the dress was beautifully wrapped. I am one very happy customer and will be keeping an eye on this business now for both gifts and clothing. I wish them every success.

Very good local shop with lots of reasonable goodies. Karen the owner is very helpful and if the item your looking for isn't available she will order it for you.Harley the dog is lovely as well!
