Terrible since being taken over. Ordered twice asked for sweet chilli chicken and got given sweet and sour both times. Didn’t offer to exchange or refund. Food was below average, very disappointing

A brilliand addition to Bawtry with the loss of the previous chinese restaurant, the menue is comprehensive with dishes i had not tried before such as honey butter chicken which is gorgeous but gets sickly by the end of the meal, i have visited twice and will be visiting again, the place is cash only and has quick service with friendly staff. The salt and pepper chips could do with some work as they seem very inconsistent and sometimes the chips can taste quite old

We ordered from the Bawtry takeaway this evening and the whole experience was terrible. I ordered Aromatic duck, tempura sweet chilli chicken and fried noodles. The young man on the phone was useless, he was unfriendly and calculated the price wrong. He also didn’t understand when I asked for fried noodles, which I usually always order. The food came and was disappointing, the duck wasn’t crispy and was really fatty. The chicken didn’t taste as it usually does and the noodles were dry and inedible, definitely not the fried noodles I ordered. When I phoned back to ask if they got the order wrong, the young man was rude and lacks any customer service skills. When you pay almost £35 for 3 items off a menu, you expect the quality because of the price point. You also don’t get prawn crackers with your order no more which is disappointing. This is the only Chinese takeaway we use because of the high standard of food, it has massively gone down hill and we will not order from here again!

Ordered food, once delivered I paid for it. Got a call an hour later saying I never paid. I told them I definitely did to which he then said I didn’t and it went back and forth. Food was below average anyway and ever since bull house got taken over it’s been bad food and bad customer service. Get a grip

The beef dish we ordered didn't have any beef in it just did it all in batter. My king prawn in chilli sauce came like sweet and sour. When we complained about it they put the phone down. We called back and because we ordered from just eat they will have to wait until tomorrow to speak to the manager. Please do not order from this takeaway as everything is cooked in batter.

Comfort food!I ordered through Just Eat and found the app significantly more expensive than ordering from the place itself.The food was very comforting but I have had better elsewhere. a Bit expensive for the quality but a good choice for nice night in with nice food.

Ordered a takeout on Sunday and by the time I got home they were closed called back yesterday was told a manager would call me and got phone slammed downChips where re heating and everything was hard all went In the binCustomer service is key-no apology no call back just pure ignoranceHave used before and used to be really nice very poor

Ordered and paid for food on Monday night (24th July) through JustEat. Order confirmed within seconds so thought all is well. After 2 hours there was no food or update from the restaurant so I called them. No answer despite trying a number of times. Finally got through to someone to be fobbed off and told its JustEats problem and they’ll call me back later. I never got my food or heard from them.I simply wanted a succulent Chinese meal and all I got was scammed and hunger pangs. Give me my food and/or my money back.
