Rena Spa at the Midland

I arranged a Spa day for 5 at the Rena Spa with an afternoon tea as a surprise birthday party for my daughter. Every thing went well and they all had a fantastic time . The treatment were great and the afternoon tea delicious

Visited for a spa package which included 80min treatment, use of the facilities and afternoon tea. The spa is small but high quality, there is a sauna/ steam room, jacuzzi, small pool and relaxation room. Robes, slippers and towels provided.My therapist was Leah and she made me feel calm even though I was late, she adjusted the treatment to exactly what I wanted and left my back feeling much better. Everyone I spoke to was friendly and helpful. I would visit again (and be on time next time!)

Calm, relaxing and indulgent spa day. From lunch with champagne to a fantastic deep tissue massage by Sally I came away walking on air. Lovely spa experience. Will definitely book again!

What an incredible place! From the point of booking to the last min of staff saying good bye. Its a wonderful place with fantastic staff and facilities. Highly recommend it. Value for money. My therapist Legia" was exceptionally talented & professional. Can't recommend them enough."

the spa had a weird smell as you step out the lift. Since if the lockers didn't work. The pool part was lovely and the suspended teepees or pods were lovely. Though there were some bare wires by some of the beds.

Little smaller than picture showed and you can't eat anything at here. I suggest you eat something before you do the spa. It's easy to feel low hypoglycemia.

I went here for a spa day package which cost £99 and included a 40-minute treatment, full access to the facilities and an afternoon tea. I cannot overstate how lovely the whole experience was! The spa is beautiful and calming with great facilities, the staff are wonderful and friendly and make sure you feel well looked after, they are always happy to help. The treatment was amazing, I had a lovely back massage and exfoliation from Jessica who was excellent at her job and really nice as a person! The afternoon tea in The Tea Room afterwards was absolutely fantastic, some of the best food I’ve had and excellent and friendly service from the staff. I cannot fault this place at all and would hugely recommend a day here to anyone. Thank you!

Booked a double up spa day for two, which includes access to the pool, sauna and relaxation areas, as well as a 50 min treatment from a set list and a 30 min rasul experience. We had the rasul first but this was simply a steam room where you put on therapeutic mud to help cleanse your skin but the experience was lack luster and over in 15 minutes. When notified of this they were fairly nonchalant about it. The main treatments were much better and we came away nice and relaxed. Wasn’t too busy mid week and we have a lovely lunch in the lounge after the spa day. Quite expensive but worth it as a treat

This was a treat for my daughter and myself from my fiance, and I can honestly say that we had the best day ever. We had the spa experience with afternoon tea, and a treatment each. From the wonderful service and food in the tearoom upstairs in the Midland hotel, to the gorgeous massage we each had. Harriet and Caitlin were both so professional and Fantastic, and made myself and my daughter feel very relaxed and pampered, thank you to both of you.The pool itself, is quite small, but absolutely lovely, and a perfect temperature. The jacuzzi was great, although, anyone with hip or knee problems may struggle to enter this Via the ladder. There is a sauna and a steam room which was really good, and the relaxation area was indeed very relaxing. There is plenty of lemon water and tea available during your visit.The ladies shower room had coded locker's, a hairdryer and straighteners. I feel this area could do with a little bit of attention, simple thing's like products in all showers, not just one, and a little bit of maintenance work, but it was very clean.We were provided with robes and slippers for the day, and we could use as many towels as we needed, which was great. I would recommend the Rena spa, especially for the treatments, Which were excellent, thank you again Harriet and Caitlin.

Therapist was absolutely phenomenal. Only negative was the really loud gathering outside of the relaxation room prior to my treatments. Not sure if it was staff or spa goers. Would have been nice for the reception staff to have cleared this area with it being right beside the relaxation room, giving people a chance to wind down and relax in there before (or after) treatments. After my treatments the crowd had dispersed so I could relax and enjoy some lovely herbal teas that were on offer.
