Fraser and Fraser

We were approached by this company 're an estate we may be beneficiaries of. You don't get told who it is until you sign up with them. It was exciting & interesting to find out it was a 2nd cousin in America we didn't know we had. However we were disappointed to find that Fraser & Fraser were already being paid from the estate in US to find the heirs so they were actually paid twice, once from the estate & again from around 200 beneficiaries. We also discovered that the US attorneys would have traced us in time anyway. This explains why as heirs we were were sent the first set of the estates accounts but, despite asking several times , we were refused the second set...which is where the fee to Fraser & Fraser from the estate was . We feel duped.

This firm misrepresented my step father’s own assets held in by the court as potential inheritance and when the court refused to release the funds to the firm because they are not solicitors they cheekily sued for their cut. The judge had them sussed and threw the case out. Be warned, the law society logos on their letterheads do not mean they are solicitors or governed by the same ethical framework.

I had a letter from Fraser Fraser early 2019 stating they had been instructed by a firm of Solicitors as my late uncle had made a will but had outlived all named beneficiaries.It appeared my grandfather had two brothers who moved to Manchester with their parents just before WW2.I always thought it was just my grandad and three maiden aunts. But a cousin did mention granddad's brothers being in the family business.Three years later after initially saying it would be four weeks before we would hear from the Solicitors once they had obtained missing heirs insurance! Fraser Fraser and Solicitors are telling the same lies blaming each other and or the Executor.All I have ever wanted is to know the final years of an aunt and uncle who both died of dementia and whose finances were dealt with by the Official Solicitor in their lifetime.The only ones to benefit from my uncles life work is Fraser, Fraser and Solicitors who care more about profit than the dignity of humanbeings

Wouldnt use by choice , very slow at dealing with a estate which was very simple to wind up , guess as a small amount of money was involved they were not interested in putting the effort in , as their commission was low , too many excuses and platitudes when pushed

The process went very smoothly and quickly, and she informed us very clearly and fully of what was required at each step. Highly recommended.

While I appreciate the fact that Fraser and Fraser found a small unclaimed estate and that they actively sought me out to claim it, they never disclosed their fees to me or who the other parties involved were.

A very professional company who were prepared to spend time to explain all aspects of the search and all the possible outcomes. They kept me well informed without an overload of unnecessary communication. It's been an intriguing journey finding hitherto unknown relatives.

We were approached by Fraser and Fraser in 2018 .we were promised a little sum of money that was our fathers.however it’s 2020 nearly 2021 we had representatives come over to our mothers house who is old and is a anxiety patient. They gave us false hope by saying “sign these paper work to give us rights to handle this matter for you and release these funds to you”.They said after waiting 6months it should take a couple of days for the funds to be released and just to check our bank account but sadly after waiting a week we saw nothing there.Time went on and I kept calling to see weather the funds are going to be released, they said it would now take up to 12 months maybe more, they said they will contact me in a few weeks, those few weeks turned into 2years and still nothing .After all that time the global pandemic comes and we all were not certain weather we should still try with Fraser and Fraser. I’ve spoken to the receptionist Wich is fairly polite but the case managers has no empathy what so ever.This matter will not be dealt with lightly the press and news should be contacted ASAP about this.What a joke and nightmare to deal with. Not even worth a star for review at all.We are still in contact with Fraser and Fraser and still no help very rude and pathetic case managers working from home as if they are the only ones working. Not professional at all !

Got in contact with me about some court funds that were being held , during the process a judge refused to deal with them and I never heard from them for nearly 2 years ! During that time i was awarded the money after i fought alone for a year trying to get it. I wrote dozens of letters and phoned around 3 times a week trying to get the court funds released because of errors by the country court. Fraiser and Fraiser never contacted me never helped and after I eventually got the money and not hearing a word from them they drop a letter asking for a big chunk of it. They are like vultures , they did very little and then absolutely nothing and only got in touch after I had dealt with a nightmare for 8 months..
