The Stratford Park Hotel & Golf Club

We stayed here for 1 night with our dog. We stayed in the recommended ground floor room with patio. A good choice for dog owners as the patio leads straight out onto grass where we had room to throw a ball and for quick toilet stops for the dog.Overall we had a good stay here. Recommendations for improvement:* No bins for dog poo, anywhere.Not even around the grounds, we had to leave it outside the patio door.* We requested a Double Room, instead we had two single beds pushed together. Not good as I am 6ft+ and my feet hang off the end of a single bed so had a rather uncomfortable night.* No water bowl for dogs at the bar. It's okay we brought our own but if they just had one out like most pubs do that would mean we wouldn't have to bring our own and ask for water at the bar.This is a dog friendly hotel, as in, they let you take the dogs in the room. Other than that, no bins, no facilities for dogs, no dogs in the restaurant. So actually not hugely dog friendly.Other than the dog situation we had a generally good stay. Nothing special, just adequate.

Me & my partner decided a weekend away might do us the world of good & it most certainly did. What can I say other than outstanding. The hotel is beautiful, clean, food is excellent & beds are super comfy. But for us it was the way the staff treated us, a HUGE shout out to Maz the operations manager he went above & beyond for us during our stay. Literally nothing was ever too much for him (and the other staff) we where made to feel welcome, at home & valued. Walked away already looking to book our next visit. Easily the best hotel & hospitality staff I’ve ever EVER had. So thank you from me & Kai to Maz, Klaus & the team. You made it a stay well never forget. And can’t wait see you all again real soon xx

Always a good experience staying here. Had a conference in Coventry and the accommodation in Coventry was much more expensive than this little gem just outside Stratford. Stayed here and drove to the conference the following day. Staff are friendly and the venues is lovely and the rooms are clean and tidy and well maintained. Would happily recommend to others and will stay again when in the area.

Location was great for Stratford-upon-Avon and surrounding areas, only a couple of miles into Stratford and 20 mins from Warwick. We drove into Stratford-upon-Avon and there were a couple of car parks on the way in so it was very convenient. The hotel is well maintained and comfy. Service has been great and we've always been able to find someone when we've needed to.We had a couple of meals at the hotel and would definitely recommend eating here. If we are in the area again we would stay here.

Really good place to stay. Less than 10 minutes from Stratford Upon Avon. We stayed for one night and there were only 11 people staying in the hotel. We were the only ones having dinner, but were given 5* treatment. Our own table by the fire, the full menu available to us and our own private chef! Dinner was brilliant, like wise so was breakfast which was cooked especially for us (Full English and continental).Lots of space to chill out on sofas around the bar and restaurant. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly. We couldn't understand why it was so quiet!Only thing to note was we booked a double room, but it was just two singles pushed together.

We had a fantastic 1 night stay here, the staff were great and very polite, helpful and friendly, the hotel is very nice and had everything we needed, we ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was brilliant and we had a nice table by the fire, the bar area was also very nice, Breakfast was great and we thoroughly enjoyed it, overall a great place to stay,The only thing that let it down for us which was no fault of the hotel what so ever were the idiots staying in room 101 on 25/11/23 who decided to come back at 00:30 waking us up screaming and shouting down the corridor and continuing with their screaming and shouting in their room and throwing up, this went on for at least an hour, lovely people! they ran off quiet quick in the morning funny that!!I would defiantly stay here again though as the hotel and restaurant were great and we had a nice time.

Overall we had a great overnight stay here, it was a pitstop while travelling to see family. The restaurant/bar area is lovely and relaxed and the staff were so friendly and great with our pup. Food was delicious and alcohol lots of choice.We do however have some constructive feedback:- Was assured we would have a double but we had 2 twins pushed together- dog friendly hotel/Room with no poo bins anywhere to be seen- welcome pack in the room really old and pieces missing- Nothing in the welcome pack about dogs- tried to call reception during working hours and went straight to voicemail- no decaff options for tea or coffee in the room- no ash trays anywhere- extractor fan in bathroom filthyThis was room 205 for reference.

We stayed here as a group of 6 friends (3 couples) for a stay to go to the Stratford Christmas market! We were welcomed by a lovely receptionist who was very helpful ☺️ The rooms were beautiful exceptionally clean! Only fault is I couldn’t control any heating so the room was a tiny bit cold later on the evening. The overall stay was 5* and we will 100% be booking to stay again, thank you.

What a lovely location. I've only used the driving range which is great although may I make a suggestion? This is not a complaint just an observation.The balls are very cheap at £2 per 20 or so but most are of poor quality and dirty. The mats are in need of replacement as well as the tees which fit into the mats. These issues let the facility down in my opinion. I would much rather pay more and have cleaner and less damaged balls to use. It's not too far from where I live which makes it even better but I feel this small change would make all the difference.
