Mobile Adventure

Recently went ghyll scrambling in Coniston and was led by Woody, a very friendly and knowledgeable instructor. Couldn’t have asked for any better, he shared lots of facts and knowledge on the gyhll, was constantly laughing at our jokes with us and ensured we all were safe throughout the whole session. Our group of 4 met Woody and 3 others who were also part of our session in a car park located a short walk from the gyhll. We were provided with all the equipment and comfortable wetsuits. The trail consisted of a few cliff jumps, climbs and a slide. Woody had a camera which captured the day and was emailed them that night. 100% recommend and will be returning. Thanks for the fab day.

My friend and myself had a mornings kayaking tuition on Derwent Waterand it was fantastic.Brilliant communication, easy booking and very professional.We were lucky with the weather and John delivered a wonderful experience.

We stayed in Mobile Adventures house through air b and b and what a house! The most stunning huge bedrooms and I mean huge! Beautiful beds that you just melt into and perfect marshmallow pillows, decorated to a stunning high standard an on suite bathroom with a shower big enough for the whole family and another family bathroom with a bath and shower. Each bedroom perfectly fitted out with wardrobes and drawers again to an extremely high standard, going upstairs to the main day area where you are litterly smacked in the face with a huge open space sharing a snug area a huge play area for any age children and a kitchen to die for, an island that is bigger than my entire kitchen at home and it's fully stocked with everything you would ever need from washing up liquid to egg cups and everything in between.Following through to the lounge where again is beautifully decorated and so comfortable with a huge sofa day bed and then a corner settee and a huge telly on the wall. Plenty of seating for a whole family and games and books are there to be used as well.The best bit about the whole place Appart from the fact that you can take your dogs with you too is the lovely, friendly family who run Mobile Adventure and own the old house that was once a pub that we rented for the week. We were greeted by 2 adorable children and a beautiful dog waving and wagging it's tail to us from there balcony and then by mum who was just lovely explaining everything to us that we need to know, nothing was to much trouble and they even own a field joined on to the huge garden to walk the dogs in!Did I mention the house has underfloor heating and has a dish washer, washer and tumble dryer too?If you looking for an adventure and a place to stay then this is your first and last stop, brilliantly priced and perfectly placed in stunning surroundings and only 6 miles to Cockermouth to, a definite 10 out of 10 and a place that we will definitely be booking again.

Just had an absolutely amazing time canoeing with mobile adventure. In a group of 9 friends on my son's stag do,.I would highly recommend. Would also like to say a big thanks to the instructor John for making the time so enjoyable. 01/06/2019.

Great morning well spent on a beginner's introduction to climbing. John the instructor was fantastic, friendly, patient. I'd absolutely recommend 10/10

My sister and I booked the Extreme Via Ferrata through Mobile Adventures.Booking was easy and communication with John was great, answering any queries and sending emails with lots of useful information.We went with a good group of people and our instructor Adam was thorough on safety, informative and friendly.I was a bit nervous before I set off, but it was AMAZING!!!I'm hooked now and looking forward to booking my next adventure with Mobile Adventures.Great company, great staff and well worth the money.See you soon.
