Ivybank Vets

Once again I cannot thank all the staff at Ivybank enough. Dan and Judy are amazing and have helped us through another difficult time showing care, compassion and humour while delivering excellent medical care for our Mason. Wouldn’t still have him without them.

The vet who dealt with Amber was great. The thermometers could do with being updated to ones that provide a reading quicker, as another of my cats wouldn't have been as tolerant as Amber. Also find it inconvenient that direct claims are no longer accepted for insurance, so might switch to a vet who does accept them

**This is a review of Station Vet Kilmarnock which is part of the group.**Used this vet for years since it was based at railway station. Never any concerns in all that time but since this ivybank group have taken over its changed for the worst. The main concern is not the animals it's now money. There yesterday and as soon as i said the cost would be difficult for me she lost interest. Offered no advice re support until I asked then had to ask again who may help me. My pet clearly will be in pain having seen what's wrong but not even a suggestion of pain relief. Very very disappointed. Not first time I've felt this money money money attitude, I mean, almost £100 for a consult and drops I've since seen I can get online for less than £10 so I've gone elsewhere, treatment costs are approx the same and I'll have to find a way of paying somehow, what else am I to do... but the vets attitude very different. Pain relief and information freely given. Mr B would would never have had an animal suffer.

only used the one in Irvine and in Kilwinning but everyone at both branches has always been great with my animals and very patient with me when I have to make the difficult decisions for my furbabies wouldn't go anywhere else

Ivybank vets were excellent, they managed to give me an emergency appointment for my wee cat and had her on the mend in no time. The vet took time to explain the process and reassure my son and I.

We had an appointment today our appointment was for 16.00pm but we arrived at 16.06pm so 6mins late, for appointment, as our car park was icy and so was Ivybank vets which was only gritted at entrance not a car park, we are over 60yrs old and frightened we slip on ice. So when we got there Lindsay the receptionist was very rude and abrupt we gave our dogs name, and she saidur late ur appointment was for 16.00pm" I told her it was only 16.06pm and she said its 16.10pm which it wasnt

Can't fault them at all! Always answer any questions you have, no matter how silly you think they are. Always explain everything and options thouroughly.

Ivybank have looked after our three dogs for nearly six years and we trust them completely. They are always skilled, professional, kind, knowledgeable and helpful and I couldn’t rate them more highly.
