Following my very much loved dad's passing, our funeral director, Haven, suggested Clare, Tapestry Funeral's, for our celebrant. Upon meeting Clare it was clear that she was compassionate, respectful and absolutely perfect for us. She delivered the whole service beautifully, and really did provide a truly personal service. We also received so much positive feedback of how the service was delivered. Clare even helped us to transport some of the flowers to the after venue. Clare was amazing! She showed a genuine interest in my family when my sister passed away. Her attention to detail was second to none and she helped us to select the perfect words and poems to honour my sister. At the funeral, Clare showed so much compassion when delivering the service that quite a few people asked me if I knew Clare personally. Exceptional. Precisely the word to use in describing Clare.Clare officiated at the burial of my late wife and the subsequent Celebration of her life. In both cases, the ceremonies were meticulously planned, were performed with sensitivity and compassion throughout and, overall, completely captured and reflected the feelings of the family about how the whole thing should arranged.Clare has a great eye for detail and is willing to expend a lot of time in ensuring that all of the details are right. This gave us great confidence that, on the day, everything would run smoothly. Without her, a lot of the small touches that made everything just that little bit more personal would not have been present.Clare listened carefully to what we wanted, but also provided valued input matched perfectly to what she understood were our wishes. This input was always put forward with empathy and understanding.It is very difficult to find an attractive venue that is willing to hold a secular service in St Albans. We had discussed our needs with three of the local funeral directors to no avail, and we were beginning to despair, but Clare immediately suggested somewhere that ultimately worked perfectly for us.At the end of the process, the family looked back and thought that it could not have gone better. It reflected absolutely the personality and wishes of my late wife and, in retrospect, there was nothing that we would have changed.

At such a sad time in our lives, we met & worked with Clare. On our first call, we knew Clare was going to help us with a beautiful send off for husband’s father. Clare was amazingly detailed and thoughtful each time we spoke. Suggested beautiful poems and suggested readings that would part of the service.
