Peak Walking Adventures

I have walked with Rachel and Richard for a long time. They are highly professional, approachable, and encouraging. They have given me the skulls and confidence to trek in Nepal, navigate, and lead hikes.

Fantastic walk yesterday with Richard and Malcolm of PWA. I'd approached Richard for help to organise a team builder for our company's leadership team and Richard was extremely helpful with ideas for how it might run, suggesting a 2.5 hour scenic route to land us at a lovely pub for lunch. Challenge level, pace, etc. were spot on, we felt really looked after and the whole team had a day they're all reliving this morning back at the office! Excellent service from start to finish!

I thoroughly enjoyed this day out walking through the Peaks District. Richard and Rachel are great guides and are very welcoming. There are just so many photo opportunities and the views are breathtaking. I highly recommend this group as your choice for a hike!

Rachel was amazing at guiding us around the edale skyline walk on the 5th August. Despite the rain for the majority of the day the entire group did not stop laughing! I was walking in aid to raise money for Myositis UK a charity so close to my heart and the whole experience was amazing from start to finish. Rachel helped me raise money by sharing my post onto there Facebook page and email, and even donated herself. If your looking for a stress free guide around the peaks, with amazing views and knowledge of the countryside then look no further. We will definitely be back to tackle more walks for charity in the near future.Thank you Rachel and the team xx

We had an amazing time at Peak district and our host Richard was very knowledgable, kind and informative to help us not only explore but also learn about the habitat of Peak District.The trek we followed was almost 8 miles and route we chose was easy level even for beginners. Would definitely recommend having walk with Peak Walking Adventures if you wish to understand history of Peak District too.

A great day with Rachel - 18.5k from Hathersage Village up to Stanage Edge, Owler Tor, thru Padley and a cuppa at Grindlesford Cafe. Super day, a few birds, lots of plants and great company. Having a guide took the stress out of a hike in a new area. Would definitely recommend having Rachel and as a guide.

He could not have been more accommodating and helpful from the start.In the run up to the day and on the walk day itself Richard kept us up to date regularly and shared all the info we could have possibly needed.The walk itself was fantastic. Richard greeted us at Grindleford station and was warm, friendly and reassuring from the get-go.Throughout the day he really made sure to check-in with everyone, give us options and ensure everyone was having a great time.I cannot recommend a guided walk with Richard highly enough.We hope to arrange some more in future.

We had a fantastic walk with Richard today. He was so friendly and showed alot of knowledge and skill and I felt very safe, even when it was foggy up in the hills. We appreciated his patience with us being new to walking in the peaks and nothing was too much trouble. He even treated us to a cup of coffee after the walk! Fantastic experience and we will definitely be back for more walks. Thank you Richard.
