Dreadful, this place has really gone down hill. My cat nearly died, zero communication, I called repeatedly, everyone was too busy to take a call or take a message. Had to take him for alternative treatment which saved his life, the only response from Chloe (the vet) was to be outraged that 'I didn't trust her'..... after not hearing from her for nearly a week as my cat circled the drain.I got the impression that if it's not a dog, you might as well take it to them in a body bag rather than a carry case.

Used this vets whilst on holiday, due to dog hurting it's dew claw. From the moment I called the vets I was greeted by a wonderful receptionist who couldn't be more helpful. Identifying a suitable appointment time. We were warmly greeted on arrival. The vet was amazing, she was warm, welcoming and extreme kind. She explained exactly what would happen. She gently took our dog to their treatment area and after a few minutes brought her back with her leg bandaged. Wow what a great job the vet did with dressing the wound. It never moved for 2 days till we took it off. The vet also checked how long we were staying and reassured us to call if we needed anything. We were also surprised by the fee, which was less than we expected. We can't thank this vets enough for saving our holiday. I had tried 7 vetsI had tried which were closer to where we were staying but they couldn't help. This vets service is second to none. I wish they were close to our home as we would definitely be customers. Thanks for saving our holiday and for being so kind and helpful at a time we found stressful

An excellent veterinary practice. I have used them for all my dogs for about 30 years and have never had a problem. They are very pet friendly, sympathetic and helpful at all times. I have phoned and asked advice and they are always helpful. They do home visits as well. All the staff are professional and caring towards the animals in their care and their owners.

Strongly recommended if you want the best level of care and professionalism. Although they couldn't save my poor cat Kiki and her loss left a permanent hole in my life, I find comfort in the fact she was so well taken care of in her final days, and was helped to pass away peacefully. A truly amazing team!

I had my cat with Swaynes in Newmarket for at least 12 yrs. Unfortunately she passed away 2 weeks ago at 19 yrs old. Swaynes always provided the best care for her during those yrs when she needed it. I have just received a lovely card from the surgery expressing their condolences for her passing. I couldn't reccomend their services high enough. Totally committed to your animals welfare and a great group of people. Thank you.

Thank goodness for an independent vet! Wonderful service with good discussion regarding ongoing health problems with one of my dogs. Having changed after almost 20 years with a vet who became part of a massive conglomerate, I am just delighted that they do all their own out of hours appointments and, because they have a hospital in Bury which is manned through the night, I know if any of my dogs need overnight care there will be someone from Swayne and partners there. This wasn't a step I took lightly but it's one I'm very pleased I took. All the staff have been brilliant and seem to be long lasting which is so important. Wish I'd done it sooner.

Nice place to take your animals 2 and being right on my doorstep is very helpful aswell and also all staff are friendly and polite to u aswell
