We were looking for someone to sketch (pastel) a portrait of our son & daughter-in-law's much loved chow chow, Luna, for a wedding anniversary present. We happened across Katharine at Skorart, based at Half Penny Green Vineyards. What a Find!Katharine was very attentive and listened to what we wanted, she paid a lot of care and attention.Would thoroughly recommend Katharine.

Recently commissioned a watercolor portrait for my son and partner's joint birthday present. It was of their cavapoo puppy and we are all absolutely thrilled with the portrait. The detail in the picture is incredible, Katherine has totally captured the appearance and character of the puppy. It is such a unique and special gift and at a very reasonable price. From meeting Katherine and seeing examples of her work it is obvious how talented she is. I would not hesitate to recommend her work to anyone who wants a pet portrait for themselves or as a fantastic gift for any pet owner.

My sisters cat passed away a few years back & we had a portrait painted of her cat by Katharine from Skorkart.It was so beautiful & looked exactly like her cat that it made my sister cry when she opened the present … all good tears Thought.Thank you so much for an amazing painting at a very reasonable price too.

What a gift this artist has.We were looking for a present for a friends 60th birthday and came across her shop at Halfpenny Green crafts , next to the vineyard.We sent over a few photos of our friends dog and collected it a few weeks later.It’s a complete likeness of George the retriever, a lot of care and attention has gone into it.Matched with a perfect frame- our friend was absolutely delighted with the gift.There are a wide range of sizes to pick from and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of the artwork.
