Stiperstones National Nature Reserve
Great place. No cafe or souvenir shop so I expect it is rarely busy which adds to its attraction. 650m of accessible path and a generous sized car park. We visited on our way to Wales so didn't fully explore but the bit we saw was fantastic. Lots of birds and butterflies. Definitely worth a visit

Beautiful nature reserve! Please please dress your children (&yourself) in suitable attire when taking them to Stiperstones! Very easy to injure your ankles on the terrain here. Fantastic day exploring the area (route around 8 miles) and I will be back to explore further around. Highly recommend wearing good footwear and take layers with you, it can get extremely cold from the wind chill.

An absolutely beautiful site which is surprisingly quiet and has a good amount of wildlife including the rare Bilberry Bumblebee. Some of the smaller paths have difficult terrain but the main paths are fine, considering the habitat and steepness. It's simply a great place to go out with the family to catch some lovely views of Shropshire and to see some incredible wildlife.

Fabulous walk, we did a four mile loop, had a picnic at top the views are absolutely stunning. Some of the surface on one side is rocky and a bit tricky to walk on so good footwear is best

For a Sunday, Stiperstones was surprisingly empty. Surprisingly because it was absolutely beautiful.

This is a great nature reserve for walking/hiking. The views are incredible and the quartzite rock formations are fascinating, and very photogenic. Very exposed so take water with you, and suitable clothing such as rainproof coats if in doubt (it can be windy up on the ridge even if it doesn't feel cold setting or from the car park). Boots are recommended for support rather than shoes. The area is free to visit, as is the car park. There is also a visitor centre in the old victorian school house which doubles as a cafe/gift-shop.

Amazing views all around from the top of the Stiperstones. Along the ridge are the stone landmarks of Cranberry rock, Manstone rock, Devil's Rock, and Shepherd's Rock, as well as the Castle Ring hillfort towards the Northern end of the ridge.Parking is available nearby at The Bog Visitor Centre and at Snailbeach village, all with paths leading up to Stiperstones. The pathways are somewhat rugged in places but the trip is well worth the hike - in sensible boots !

What a beautiful place! Went on a whim and was very impressed. Great walk indeed. There's plenty to see in the area and can make it as quick or as short as you like. The car park is at the top so there is only a short but steep walk to the top. Lots of elderly folks on their group rambles but wasn't busy at all. A beautiful gem I'll certainly return to. Had a lovely time with my partner. Excellent photo opportunities with excellent rock formations and incredible vast views. A must see in the area!

How is it in my 70+ years, I have never heard about this stunningly beautiful place. ANOB well deserved status. Tricky car access track with passing points, it's narrow! Parking is a bit limited, but OK on a weekday. Walking starts easy but gets harder. (There is a wheelchair accessible short route). You will need to stop looking at the rough ground to admire the views and take images. Up to the trig point is about 45 minutes, but well worth it. The weather can change quickly, so prepare for wind and rain. I will hopefully return someday.

Steep roads up! Be careful! But lovely walks once you're up there, lots of sheep!
