Ben Lomond Car Park
Sn absolute gem! Even if you don't feel like climbing Ben Lomond, you can find plenty of lower trails with a historic trail included. Lovely beaches with lots of space for refreshments and bbqs. Worth visiting.

Ben lomond was a very nice mountain that when you climb you will meet all sorts of people all kind. You also see very nice views that in photos look way different. Its an experience worth doing i highly recommend climbing this mountain.

This is a convenient location with plenty of parking spaces (£5 for a day/ £2 for an hour) for hiking or a wee walk.

Excellent place for an epic view! I parked at overflow parking, it was free otherwise you gotta pay... The route for Ben Lomond Hill starts from the car park, easy route to follow to get to the summit. BEWARE of ADDERS (Snakes).. Saw one on the way to the summit..

Arrived at the car park around 9.30am on a Wednesday and still quite a few places left, we knew we wanted to do the Ben Lomond trail and ended up on the wrong trail! 40 mins later we returned to the car park and found the right trail which is behind the toilet block. Then a 3hr trek to the top which was quite hard and we needed a few rest breaks, its not an easy climb but well worth it once you reach the summit, it took 2 hrs to descend and we were shattered by the time we got back to the car park and a few aches the following day.

The only reason for the low rating is that it was completely chocabloc. As the starting point for for the West Highland Way there is limited parking and no place to go. It is a dead end. If you can wait for a space, you'll be rewarded with one of the most stunning views you'll ever see.

Parking machine has card capability but there was only coin payment option enabled. RingGo app can be used and according to the information board, payment can be made within 72 hours.RingGo location: 53325.Good and clean toilet. I imagine the car park could get full in Summer. Overflow, free car parking available a few minutes walk before the paid car park.

Great car park with good facilities. Toilets and 2 car park ticket machines. 1 has a card payment option however this wasn’t working at the time when we visited. Great area to start walking up on to Ben Lomond. Great value, great views and worth a visit. Would recommend this to any ramblers or anybody wanting stunning views. This is also home to a memorial as well.

It's easy to drive there. It took about an hour from west end of Glasgow. It is a pay and display carpack with coin operated ticket machine. Since April 2022, the charges had been adjusted to £2/ hr, £5/ day. Clean toilets. Picnic tables are available. A few trails start from the cat park.
