The Lemon Tree Restaurant
Beautiful restaurant, one of only two in Donegal with a mention in the Michelin Guide. The food and cocktails were both delicious. The location is very central, perfect for going to before a show. For me, the only area for improvement would be the decor, it wasn't in keeping with how great the food was.

The Lemon Tree Restaurant
One of the best restaurants in the town, if not the best one. The only restaurant in Letterkenny with a Michelin star. All of their offers are on that Michelin level - a feast for the senses !The restaurant is cozy, elegant and well decorated. The only thing I would change are the tables for 4 - could be a bit bigger. The staff is polite. The choice on their menu is not too big, but various and well composed. There is also a kids menu offering sausages, burgers or goujons.A cheap and spacious covered car parking is opposite of the entrance.Everything we ordered was both tasty and nice looking - starters (venison ragu and scallops), main meals (Irish venison, scallops and 2 kids menus) and the desserts. They have their house wine which is really good - we had a bottle of Chardonnay which was the perfect choice with all our meals.There was also a wee entree on the house" - 2 types of bread with garlic butter.Would definitely recommend

This place was out of this world . We heard the table beside us compare it to chapter one . What a comparison . It was delicious from start to finish. Good size portions so you will not leave hungry .

Very nice restaurant indeed. A warm welcome, non intrusive service by out friendly server, along with very competent food from a well run kitchen. Food was artistically plated, delicious and hot to table. Always a big brownie point from me!A truly excellent chicken terrine that had chefs take on it. Softer than a usual terrine and this worked so well. The taste and the plated accompaniments worked so well togetherSuper risotto that all too often is a let down. Not here... delicious.Yes.....well worth a visit. Recommended.Great to see restaurants such as The Lemon Tree around the country.

The Lemon Tree Restaurant
Wow what a great restaurant. Wish I had found this place years ago, it’s up there with the best restaurants in any major city I have sat in and better than a lot of them. We will be back probably before the week is out. I only have a couple of pictures as everything got devoured before we remembered to photo them. Thank you to the chef and staff for making this a great gastronomic experience.

If you travel Wild Atlantic Way or just visiting Donegal, make a stop in Letterkenny and treat yourself in Lemon tree restaurant. Food is amazing, well presented with complimentary snacks and sweet treats. We were pleased and really enjoyed. Staff is friendly and professional. Classic interior with nice photo wall-tribute to local food producers. Price worth it.

Amazing experience, location in heart of Letterkenny but tucked away from the hustle of main street in the evenings. Incredibly friendly and professional staff.Food was amazing, everything from the kinder porter bread to start until salted caramel tart to finish was great (special recommendation to the Tuna Carpaccio and the pork belly)One of the servers Molly, was something that turely stood out, incredibly friendly and knowledgeable of the menu offering great recommendations and pairings for the meal.
