Parked up twice of a sunny evening on our holiday and bagged a space both times. Popular with camper vans. Lovely spot to eat some fish and chips and then onto the beach! Tide comes in SUPER FAST.

Over night stopover. Small car park and no toilets. Nearest Place Allonby a small village on the Coast. A few Campsite on the way down the coast from Silloth.

There are a few free car parking areas along this stretch of the coast suitable for accessing the beach come rain or shine.There are notices advising of the risk of flooding in severe weather, so do take heed.

Lovely beach half pebble and half sand the car parks full of pot holes if you've got a lower vehicle or value your tyres be mindful of this. The car park has a green bin on for disposing of your rubbish.
