Hepworth Blinds Dorchester

I have been emailing back and forth for over 4 months now about my ordered blinds, to be given conflicting information.Initially I was told my blinds would be ready in 5 weeks - I still have not had them fitted, but Hepworth do still have my money. My last email was asking for a full update and if cannot be provided I want a full refund, to which they have not answered to date.As a customer, I would have expected to be updated about an order I had made, rather than be told “we’ll let you know” and to still hear nothing. I feel I have had the run around with conflicting responses to my emails over the 4 months.I am very disappointed with this company and would not recommend them because of their lack of customer service.

we've used this company a few times. The prices are good considering they include measuring and fitting. Yes, I have had a delay for fitting- but I've never really been in a rush. When I had blinds fitted in a new extension, the company returned several times to make sure that the fitting were tight in the new plaster. Polite, helpful, good range.

Really friendly and helpful staff helpful and knowledgeable would recommend when buying blinds I spent nearly 2000 pounds and jam very satisfied with the products and services

I have used this company twice and to be honest I should have learned my lesson the first time. I will not use them again. My main gripe is the failure to deliver. The first time I had to really put pressure on them to install by the date promised. The second time, despite being told that my delayed blind was being delivered within a week I was then told that it would not be and would not be manufactured at all. (All I wanted was a simple venetian blind with four different coloured slats). The ladies in the shop were pleasant but were as hamstrung as me but even there they managed to lose my paperwork. I had a complete bungalow fitted and could not say I was overly happy, one blind being measured wrong and another hung crookedly (for which I received a £5 refund).

What a pity I did not read John Parker's review!!!!!! Do not use this company! They telephoned twice to say that their fitter had been delayed, then he wouldn't be coming at all that day (Thursday) but they could 'fit me in' on the following Wednesday. I telephoned their head office but the person the shop had told me to ask for (the manager and deputy on leave) was unavailable in a meeting (with whom?) but the woman who answered the telephone seemed pretty clued up. They then offered me Friday but I had a hospital appointment so after a row I told them I would expect the fitter on Monday morning. He arrived. He'd been held up because they had not given him nearly enough time to complete his work on the Thursday. My first blind had been measured incorrectly, then the next was fitted at the top of the window instead of the sides. I had specifically asked for side fitting but the guy who hsd taken the measurements had written 'top' on the order form. The blind was removed and refitted correctly as where the others although the plastic end cap keeps falling out. The fitter said that the replacement blind would take about a week but he would then be on holiday but another fitter would come. I telephoned today - 2 weeks later - to be told firstly there was a delivery expected this morning but my blind wasn't on the list, then, secondly, it was on the list but until the receptionist 'gets her hands on it' she won't know when it can be fitted ax the fitter is on leave. When I asked about the cover, she told me that one should have come from head office but wasn't available.How are they still in business? Guess who is going to Hillarh's blinds?

Had to wait over a month just to get a measure and quote, gave up in the end. A company based on Poundbury can’t visit a property on Poundbury for over a month. Other companies were much more engaging and prompt from further afield. Didn’t seem to care that I cancelled after such a long wait. Such a shame as have done business with them when they were Bargain Blinds, much more efficient and customer caring.

We have had blinds installed to all windows in our newbuild home and curtains to 4 of those. Hepworth Blinds have been extremely helpful at all stages and we are extremely pleased with the results.I am rather bemused by the negative reviews which have certainly not been our experience. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

The day didn’t start off too well when I got a phone call to say the fitter has called in sick. Whilst it is perfectly understandable, it is still not what you want to hear when you’ve booked the day off but when they found out, they wasted no time at all in sending an installer from Cardiff ( I live in Dorchester ) to honour the appointment. The blinds look fantastic and Sophie in the shop was outstanding along with whoever it was that helped her sort it out.Please use this company and ignore any negative reviews.I will be highly recommending them to all of my kitchen / bathroom customers.

I have had blinds fitted in my lounge room by this company and asked them back again 18 months later to fit more blinds in my bedroom. The service I have received was efficient and the fitter was thorough . The quality of the blinds is very good.I have no idea why the earlier reviews are negative as I have no complaints whatsoever. The chap turned up bang on time and did the job (properly and without fuss) in no time at all. I would use them again and have recommended them to a friend.

After ordering three arch shutters early October and being told would take three months , have only just had them fitted . Six months later . After several phone calls asking when they would be delivered was told out of their hands as ordered to fit . Tried cancel and even said was going to see solicitor .The fitters turned up early and they do look very nice tho not sure value for money .Would I use them again - definitely notMy advice - take note of these reviews or you will regret it
