Rude staff member driving forklift beeping horns telling me to get to the back of the queue when there was no obvious queue as could only see a lorry parked up. staff member then didn't explain where the queue was. People can make honest mistakes without staff getting angry as not everyone would have been there before and understand where to go. Ended up driving away and going somewhere else and won't be coming back.

This is a great place if you're tipping your scrap, as their prices are the best in the area. The only problem, on my last 2 visits it's taken 90 and 50 minutes to tip my mixed ferrous metals, had I had ally, stainless, copper etc, you could add another 20 minutes!!Been coming here 10 years, so that speaks for itself!Much smoother experience today! Only a couple of vehicles ahead of me. I had several different metals plus mixed ferrous, so small Weigh bridge, then the large vehicle one.In and out within 20 minutes or so. Was getting a bit busier as I left.Good experience and currently great prices!

Always competitive prices. I have been coming here for several years. Highly recommended, just sort out your scrap before you come then you'll get the best price. Team are friendly and efficient. Can get busy at times like any business!

Decent company with hard working staff who know their stuff.Always straight forward and easy to deal with.Scrap prices are the same as the other well known dealers in the area. Yard feels safe and well run, no dogs running loose or any of that kind of thing !

Took 3/4 of a ton of mixed scrap there today. After offloading I was advised that the total weight was only 180kg. I queried this and was told it could be reweighed. Helped the youngster put as much as possible on his forklift, couldn't get to a lot of material as material had already been dumped on top so had to leave it. Then waited half an hour before being attended to. Weight now was some 420kg. Quite a difference. When I raised the issue of not being able to access all my material for reweighing, I was verbally abused by some individual and told to leave. This is how you are short changed. And if you query the situation you are subjected to a torrent of abuse. WON'T be returning.

Super chilled experience with efficient and helpful staff assisting a complete newbie with great patience and communication. Add to that great prices and swift payment make A4 the absolute preference for recycling in this area.

Yard was busy but the staff were all courteous and kept everything moving efficiently. Kirsty in the office was really helpful and patient and explained the whole process which went wirhout a hitch. A fair price made it a worthwhile trip and I don't feel like I was being ripped off. I would highly recommend this yard if you're in any doubt about where to take your scrap.

Very unhelpful. I feel coned. Always agree the price before selling or avoid. They paid me 45 pounds per tonne but when my son called them one hour later, they gave him the price of 80 pounds per tonne. They also refused to move their vans parked in the middle of the road pretending that they lost the keys and made me drive extra 2 miles.

Rude staff fleeced me £25 for a copper cylinder. We all know it’s worth more. I asked if it was negotiable and he told me take it home then.
